Latest rumour is that 58 vehicles from the Parsifal have cleared what ever process they are supposedly doing and will be at Ford dealer pre delivery centres Monday. They didn't say from which locations make up the 58. Neither of the first two cars from my dealer (which includes mine) are part of those.
There will possibly be a second batch delivered 23rd or 24th to dealers but have been advised even if mine is part of this they will not deliver before Christmas due to a back log of cars!
I used to look forward to Fridays before it became the regular bad news day from :ford::mad:

I'd encourage everyone to really have these discussions on Fords Facebook posts rather than here. This forum technically is the best place to have them, however the public pressure that can be applied from Facebook is phenominal. You can bet there more then happy that we talk here rather then in 'public' on FB, particularly when their pushing their marketing spiel.

If anything they might actually put up a spokesperson and say something official with some backbone.

I know I've been leaving digs at them all over their posts, and mine isn't even meant to get here till 16th Feb.

+1 to that, posted public and private message on FB yesterday, just had phone call today from a member of FoA social media team. No change in outcomes, although I didn't expect change. More about changing an urge by me to post more negative commentary (which was expected)

Hopefully my view for them to communicate with customers with clear information may start to repair my very negative impression of this company over what can only be described as a debacle.

I'd suspect they will all be Victorian delivered Mustangs given you guys had a week up on Fremantle offloads.

I hope that rumour is true mate because it will mean at least 58 people get to enjoy the Mustang experience pre-Christmas.

I'll drink to your view

I can't believe they had the balls to suggest you might curb your enthusiasm for posting "honest and factual" commentary. That to me defies belief.

Based on that I'll expect a call today also

To clarify, didn't say that directly. Usual psyc101 "we too share your concern, if there was anything we could do we would, happy to call you in a month with an update" type approach to the protagonist... My take was that it is an attempt to change my view thru motherhood statements...

After suggesting I was tracking progress on etis, window sticker etc, this gem "you can't always trust those systems, sometimes they aren't up to date".

Please Ford provide some information (accurate) as so we can act appropriately.

US Ford systems are far more reliable than Ford Australia in my experience.

Deysha was always 100% accurate on system data she shared as she helped me through the Build to Port sequence.

I think we just hit 1,000 posts on this thread :first:

I have been advised of expected build in March.... Which would suggest June delivery. When i placed my deposit, my contract says february delivery. So it does not look like the process is becoming any more streamlined at this stage. Bit of a let down.

I was also told, some people who ordered earlier than me will be taking delivery later than that too!

No reason given

I'd suggest plenty more posts to come before we get ANY cars delivered to the paying public (unless your 58 rumour gets up). Ford Australia haven't finished with us yet on new delays and reasons to stall deliveries until the formal announce next month.

I figure there must be a view that given they have 4,000 orders on the books (around $240M worth) and a captured market, that all the negative customer experience fb posts and customer dissatisfaction will be forgotten once the Mustang is released next month and the customers get their cars. No other explanation really makes sense. Mind you that one doesn't either

<sigh>

Just had a phone call from a lovely lady at Ford Au.

My car is being delivered to my dealer on Monday. :headbang:

Getting so close I can almost smell it!

She couldn't tell me what the dealer would do with the car, or how long they would need it for.

Looking good for a big magnetic V8 Christmas present. :clap2:
