Didn't that happen in Zeebrugge?

Do we all get an email as a matter of course to let us know what our vehicles have been loaded onto a ship in the states or do you have to ask for this? My dealer seemed to think I'd get one, but not so sure I would unprompted.

I'm really not looking forward to all of this. I just hope it's a little bit smoother now the cars are real.

I have emailed my sales guy tonight asking him when I should next hear from him. Just want him to know that I want updates! Not expecting a lot after reading through this forum!

:lol: that is the 1st challenge I guess. Just gonna try strike up a decent relationship with him to hopefully get a better service.
I swore to never deal with a main dealer again after I bought a 03 Renault Clio. Service was awful. Not looking forward to this!

Whilst chatting to my dealer I happened to mention Andy and Karen answering some questions for us. His reply was If only they would pass on some updates to them also. So I'd guess most dealers are in the dark too.

Just been told by Deysha from ford service that my car was released from flat rock on Sunday

She PM'd me last night to say "It has not shipped out to the port yet" but Karen mailed me last week to say it was in Zeebrugge, so I have asked Deysha to confirm which port she is referring to!

It was built on 28/09/2015, so I think they might be using the "slow boat to China" shipping company...

Jeez. Mine was built on the same day. Karen did email me to say it had just left the factory then told me the same when I enquired 2 weeks later.

A couple of weeks after that Deysha told me it was still at the factory, where it then stayed for quite a while.

Now my car supposedly arrived in Southampton last Saturday but the trail has gone cold. My dealer was expecting a delivery yesterday but I have had no phonecall to say that it's finally here.

Bloody frustrating isn't it.

I get more info when I order a couple of hundred quids worth of stuff from iKea.
