As we start to turn up the boost we found ourselves short on fuel supply.

So we not only are upgrading the fuel system to support more power but will be making the conversion to E85 at the same time.

We will be using the CP-E secondary fuel rail kit along with some 13-14 GT500 injectors, custom fuel cell and pump as well as a control box to manage the additional injectors.

Can it be ECU tuned or does it need to have a dedicated controller?
It's a dedicated controller, the factory ECU cannot support external outputs or inputs. I'm assuming they are going to use Split Second to control it like I have on the MAPerformance car. The one I really want to use is Microsquirt.

Good choice! Much more control, exactly what you need for a PI system!


Pat - Correct, the system needs injectors and a controller in order to function, it isn't plug and play. I have AUX system tuning options on my website for this very reason.

Correct. The CP-E rail basically allows you to add additional injectors. You need the box to be able to run them as the PCM doesn't have the ability to control the additional injectors.
