Don't pay ADM. Even MSRP on this car is a bit of a stretch as they do not sustain their value on the resale market like a GT3. Any joy you may have by paying ADM just to have it now will be traded for remorse within weeks. If you're the type of person looking to buy a GT350 at sticker, paying ADM will kill your ownership experience.

Don't listen to 5.0 Brian either as he's just another stealer who happens to like Mustangs. Read out loud what he posted, then tell me he's not unlike any other schmo you've been talking to at a dealer... This guy could have sold me a GT350, a Platinum F-150 to my bro in January (has been ordered by the dealer I'm getting my GT350 from) and a 2017 Raptor to me next fall. He totally screwed up. I'm sure he could care less however.

The reason why they sell so many F-150's at deep discounts is that their MSRP is way too high on them i.e. Ford's profit margin is through the roof. Incentives, rebates, volume is the game as well as stiff competition from GM and Ram. Comparing the two is disingenuous at best.
There is a thriving resale market already? That's great!

Problem solved, OP! Just pick one up on the resale market at way below MSRP!

Oh, wait - you weren't just speculating without any actual evidence, were you?

Let me pull up the GT350 used car listings.... lol

Some people are just insanely butthurt over ADM. I really don't get it.

I've never paid MSRP on a car, let alone an ADM. Never have, never will. I'll wait.

Find a small dealer in a small town. I looked everywhere in Arkansas and found a dealer I had never worked with or heard of. The guy on the phone was very nice and was able to change the order the next day to my specifications if I sent a deposit in immediately which I did. Went up there a few days ago to finally meet the salesman and his other associates who were all extremely nice. The owner of the dealership, who was setting up for their Christmas party a few miles down, was unable to meet but the salesmen all stated that he is there every day and has never charged over sticker for any special edition model and never will. It takes a lot of time and effort to find a dealer that will not put an ADM on a Shelby but it can be done. Personally, I'd wait a little while because most of the MSRP deals are gone. Something like this you have to get a jump on immediately once it hits. Anyway, I hope you are able to secure a 350 and please keep us updated.

$0.02. This seems like a great car (don't have mine yet, hopefully April/May) but not the Holy Grail. If you can't find a 2016 at MSRP fight the urge to have it now. Start looking for a 2017 with much higher probability for MSRP and potentially perhaps a 2018 if they extend production where it will likely be a certainty. It is just a really nice car not the girl of your dreams.

Supply and demand. Either you wait for the demand to die down and pick one up for MSRP or you get one know and pay a premium. Very simple.

Most MSRP deals have been used up at this point. If you want one your most likely going to have to pay an ADM; unless there is a backout posted here on the forum or you get lucky calling 100's of dealerships.

Randy....chill-out brother !...Brain said, pay the 10K ADM now if .. IF you gotta have it NOW !!!" get it !? HE also said if you can wait a while you can get a deal on one, when more are available. To call him stealer/schmo (what ever made up name that is) is uncool period. Because you did not get the deal you wanted from his dealer , more than likely had nothing to do with his decision on price. Remember one thing he gets paid when cars are sold, not setting there. Most salesmen and managers are deal makers not deal breakers....so what...if they want to make a nicer profit on a hot car, who would not? Im paying a ADM and most other are or did..its life if you want the car. As Rodney King asked...can we all just get along?

There is still dealers out there and more dealers dropping ADMs. Just have to do some homework

the shelby adm has a similar curve to the hellcat adm except there is one big difference.

hellcat adm in the fall when people started receiving cars then low to no adms during the winter months then people started driving their hellcats in the spring then huge adms on hellcats until now when you can find msrp deals on a regular basis.

i predict the shelby with have the same arc so 12 more months of adm until you can order a shelby at msrp.

the one big x factor is they produced roughly twice as many hellcats as shelby's.

The Hellcat has been in production for much longer than the Shelby. I haven't seen anything saying when Ford will stop producing them for the model year.
