Aren't the Recaro's cloth? My main complaint with leather is the heat or cold. In the summer, if you're wearing shorts, you just stand with the door open thinking how uncomfortable this is going to be, lol. If I had kids, probably get leather since they clean up easier. But I always prefer cloth. My preference would cloth with heat- but at least you can get power seats with cloth in the Mustang. That's not an option in most cars.

That just proves that if given a chance...the V6 can prevail. I used to have the same mindset that Mustangs should be V8's until I decided to actually drive the V6. Now I have one.

My sixxer has leather seats because it was a showroom model. I'd rather have cloth. Leather seats stick and can get really uncomfortable if you live in a place that gets over 100 degree summers.
Are you driving around naked or something? I've never had my leather seats stick to me. LOL

Useless to you is not useless for others bud. I wouldn't have even bought a mustang if I had to go with the ugly base interior. It's all opinion so who really cares lol.
Bad news for you.............your interior is really not much different........overall, take someone who does not sit on these forums, open the driver door to a base and premium and 90% of them wont notice much of a difference at all besides the radio

But yea.......opinions.........you bought a bright red mustang..................

Not much different, if you are blind...

I got nothing against people who get the base. I myself was considering doing the same. However, the whole "I must devalue the premium to justify my base purchase" argument is absolutely stupid. People get what they want and other than personal choice and preference nothing else matters.

Only real difference mostwould notice is the larger touch screen. Besides that and being leather or cloth. Not saying base is a great interior but neither is the premium. Nicer than previous Mustangs but still crap quality compared to most other new cars out there.
Nobody buys a Mustang for the interior.

Again, a different radio, a different color dash trim, oh wait.........ugly chrome toggle switches........ oh oh oh ambient lighting at night (which is not a cosmetic difference 24/7) sooooooooooooooo different....I mean, it looks like an entirely different car!!

Recaros are not in every single non base car so that does not even count for comparison

Yea, way bigger screen(very noticeable), i have two tone leather(very noticeable), ambient lighting is cool to me, toggle switches w/ PP look great to me. dash trim is better. it's opinion but you seem mad for some reason lol

I find it funny that the only people that claim to like cloth better than leather are the base model owners.
And those who take their cars out to autocrosses or road course track days . . . sliding around on less-than-grippy "leather" and using your knees to brace yourself gets old after a while.

OP - a 2015 sixxer would probably give my '08 GT a pretty good run, and the '08 is still a fun car to drive.

HUH? Nobody needs all that power?
I spin mine all the time,GTs dont make any power under 4000 and my
tune shifts at 7250..Often !
GT's don't make any power under 4000??? My GT makes plenty of power at 1500 rpm. I've had the car for a year and I can probably count on both hands the number of times I've gotten it over 4K rpm. In a typical week of driving it never gets above 2500 rpm.

ROFL no I don't drive around naked but I sweat a lot since I'm a gym-rat. The hot leather tends to make my back sweat more especially when I am driving home with a tank top and it's nasty as hell. The back of my knees tend to stick to the leather when I got shorts on, and my upper lats tend to stick to the leather when I got those tanks on. Didn't bug me at first but when its 110 degrees, that leather is really nasty. Luckily its incredibly cold right now where im at.

Unfortunately since mine was the showroom V6 model with leather seats...the seats don't heat or cool.

What year? The leather seats I had on my 2011 V6 were terrible.
