How to get stock tune?

Just purchased the Steeda CAI with tune recently and recieved the tune today (excited!!).

In case of whatever reason, I'd like to be able to return my vehicle to stock tune. How do I download the stock tune of the vehicle to the tuner? Or is there another way of returning the vehicle to stock?

Refer to Manuel for the tuner you are using. Most have an option to save current tune, you would want to do this before uploading your new tune.

yeah read the sct instructions lol. it saves the stock tune then marries the tuner to the car. you won't lose stock tune

Yup, when you first plug the tuner in, it saves your stock tune.

Just for reference, if the X4 is like the X3 then back up the stock file from the device to your computer or portable hard drive. It will remain on the device but having a back up is nice in the event the device ever crashes or gets lost.

Just to be clear ford can see you tampered with the ecu even if you flash back to stock tune.
