Supposed to be built November 25th then moved out to January 18th and as per a phone call from Ford my R model is now moved out to March or April!
Probably just as well as all of the snow should be gone by then based on where I am having this car delivered.
On top of that car #77 is now not in transit as I was told but now still in Flat Rock.
This is probably a good deal as well as gone for a week starting Monday and will be back when the car arrives.
I don't ever recall ordering a brand new car for that model year and then receive it the following year but I guess there is a first for everything.
For the record, no one I know at Ford could tell me what was going on or knew when my car would ship. And I took no steps to try to influence its schedule.

Presuming they ship it, I think I got lucky, it seems like it was built and then they
cut off production of R's the same day. I am lucky, but it will not be driven until spring, I do get to drool on and wax off while in my garage for the winter

Shelby is from the South bro... Glad somebody from south of the Mason Dixon could bring all of us a sweet heritage to take part of... Biscuit or Tehas Toast would be my picks!

That made me actually "lol". At least this forum is plenty amusing for us waiting for our R's... Plus as winter is approaching here, the car is just gonna sit. I'll gladly wait, hopefully make some extra cash plowing this winter then have fun in the car once it comes in next spring!
