No the inner part is not covered. This was my concern also, but they replied that it's really not important to cover the third side, and that would be phisically impossible to apply there.
And they were right, because even without covering that area the bars look very good :)

And now the important question, Tint or Red? :D

Looks like a good alternative indeed, they are pre cut and glossy, although I would love to see some examples of them first on a non US spec Mustang.

Obviously red :D
I think it will be difficult to see them installed, you should buy and see on your car :)

For me there are two "schools" in terms of aesthetics:

-fast & furious school with all these neon led lights, stickers, strange colors and in general whatever is NOT stock
-stay authentic school

If you prefer the first school go with tint
If you prefer the second school go with red

I personally vote the second school to all my cars.

I go with school 2 :D

It clearly says glossy !:headbang:

I don't know if it a plain self adhensive sticker or an hot-air gun is also needed?
I found an install video, the only thing that I don't like is the razor blade cutting.
The pre cut's Papinist used didn't had the edges to cut off, but anyway I would cut them off before installation and use glove to avoid fingerprints.

Just got a confirmation reply that Red vinyl is Glossy indeed :headbang:

Hello anad I hope you are having a good day. The Red has a "gloss" look. All of our Lamin-x colors will have a gloss look. I hope this helps and thank you for contacting us. Thank you, Lamin-x Customer Service

Anyone else done black tint on their clear rears? I'm thinking of going that route - would match well with magnetic and maybe take some pinkness out of the rears?

I am gonna pick up my Stang tomorrow.
First I will have a week of fun with it and after that I will try to create templates for the lights which I can use to create the tint vinyl.

Yes, I own a sign company. So I have the machines and the knowhow :)
I've found the right vinyl with a glossy finish.

So my own Mustang will be my first testcase. When all goes well, we will create and sell tintsets of that template.

This is the seller: http://www.anchor-room.com/
BEWARE: don't do my same mistake! Vinyls alone are shipped in a small cardboard tube, but adding a squegee at my order needs a very large box (you can see it in first image) for the tube and squeegee.. and this means that italian customs noticed it and asked 27 eur custom fee.
For all the vinyls + shipping I paid about 100 eur.
UK Customs noticed my tube with just the vinyls in it, ÂŁ3.88 VAT i can cope with .. ÂŁ8 Royal Mail International Handling fee is taking the pee!
