Correct!
With one addition:

1.5) connect "park" wire from switchback to parking signal wire.

Well, I can imagine the whole picture now....

I think that the tri-bars DRL would be nice to light up ALONE. They are beauty enough, so the horizontal white bar (from parking lights and switchback lights) seems extravagance. What do you think?

To avoid problems with police, I will keep the stock turning lights: if they have something to say about the drl sequential turn, I always have the regular turning light.

I'm talking about the whites (parking lights + switchback)

Of course you can keep the OEM turning signal for blinking amber (with led lamp)

I thought you had replaced all lamps with led, when bumper off .
So here is my list when I'll remove the bumper:

1) pair of leds (cool color) for parking lights
2) pair of switchback leds or simple amber led for turning signal lights
3) pair of led fog lights (OEM or third party)

:D:D:D

It also was my thought, but my package with switchback and led bulbs is stuck in Portugal since mid-december...

I switched off OEM parking lights all together. Looks much better imo.

Oh, I didn't know that tri-bars DRL + parking lights + turn signal (white) are ALL ON in US version
US version has AMBER instead of white, but popular mod is to change turning light with switchback so to have it WHITE.

"I am just at my dealers and was told the same. But they managed to install it and just charged me a bit of extra work. No big deal."

Yep, that's me :) I have seen the result for only a few minutes because they did not fix my transmission so I have to leave the car there.

I will post pictures once I have the car, but my first impressions: The orange is more saturated than the factory one, I love it! It will look great on darker colors (I have Ruby Red). The switch from white to amber is faster than what I have sen so far on other switchbacks. I also replaced the parking lights with LED's and these switchback have the same white brightness, so when the headlights are on, there is a long white uniform stripe shining underneath them. Looks just great.

As for the DRL's, the dealer has disabled the regular DRL's and kept just these switchbacks. I did not ask them to do this, but I like it very much now.

I will share more pictures once I have the car, but I am very happy with these switchbacks. The only drawback is that they did not fit in initially and they had to grind them to fit. Cost me about 50EUR for the extra work, no big deal.
