I'm not sure how accurate this 'Australian Version' is.

It shows the Speedo to be exactly the same as the USA version.
ie, The main outer scale is in MPH and large numerals - The inner scale is in KMH and small numerals.
I would have thought that our speedo's would have the scales reversed.

I also shows the battery on the right side, same as the USA cars.
I thought the battery was to be on the left side to allow the Brake Booster to be swapped over to the right for out RHD Cars.

It also mentions the Reversing Senors. It gives an explantion of how they work. It then says if they are fitted to your vehicle.

Thats what has stood out in the quick read of the 298 pages.

As for images being wrong and if it is fitted, it does state at the start ....

Note: This manual describes product features and options available throughout the range of available models, sometimes even before they are generally available.It may describe options not fitted to the vehicle you have purchased.
Note: Some of the illustrations in this manual may show features as used in different models, so may appear different to you on your vehicle.

But you can match up whats listed on ETIS, parking aids have been mentioned, so therefore as the sensors are listed in the manual as Parking Aids...
As for the battery, where is showing on the right side? Pg 152 Under hood overview shows it on the left.

On Page 152, it clearly shows the Battery is on the Right Side and the Brake Resivour is on the Left Side.
This is how the USA cars are set up for LHD.
Our cars have the Battery on the Left Side and the Brake Resivour on the Right Side, for RHD.

Well, it's a different part number to the 'EN' manual, so at least they've changed it.
Whether or not it's accurate is a different story I guess.

P.S. Thanks quick duck

Ahh ok, I always see the left/right sides as if I am facing the engine bay, not from driver seat POV.

Looking at the RHD engine in the UK posts, it is definately opposite to this AU manual. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36841&page=5

We can always be looking for what is wrong with the manual, yeh a few things, but it's got info on areas that haven't been explained before. Such as the deployable bonnet, I understand that a lot more and worried about adding struts

Ford service PM to me was that it's on the right for Australia. Picture shows wiper stalk on the left. We don't have to have same as UK.

Well I guess we have to see what actually arrives. This car has certainly become a mystery when it comes to details.

I really wish we could get the red tail lights in Australia. I've ordered a Race Red and can't talk myself into liking the clear ones. They are passable on the darker colours but stand out too much on the red for me. Surely they could get the OEM to have red ones homologated in Australia. We have 3000+ orders which should warrant a production run given the US case would be the same. I'm sure our UK mates would support the same.

I have seen his stuff and it is impressive....its the legalities that concern me....not so much the defect part, but if someone taps your rear end, the insurance company may jump ship...

Hi FrozenPea,

His lights look very interesting. I really want damn sequential lights! Can you give us some details on what you are have ordered?
I assume that it includes:
1. The actual tail light assemblies themselves;
2. Red tail lights not clear;
3. Sequential brakes that stay lit when the brake is depressed; and
4. Sequential indicators.
Will you install them yourself? Are you happy to share a price?

I asked Diode Dynamics about sequencers for RHD Mustangs, AU/EU spec. This video shows what their plug'n'play solution provides for LHD vehicles: [ame] Their reply:
"Currently all of our sequencers do only work with USDM vehicles, as we are always looking to expand into other markets, but at this time I do not have an estimate on when, or if, we will be making these for the RHD Mustangs! If you have any questions, though, please let us know and we are more than happy to help."
From what I can tell, to meet ADRs we need the taillight to stay on once the brake is depressed, not sure if it can come on as a sequential display and then stay lit up. (The info on these forums is contradictory about the rules - happy to be corrected). Maybe a few more emails to them may encourage them to look at RHD cars.
