Hello all I'm new to the forum. Just placed a factory order today for a 16 Impact Blue Premium GT w/ PP & 6sp manual. Also got the adaptive cruise control i'm looking forward to trying out. Now for the long 2 month wait. Got a great deal as they gave me the friends and neighbors incentive pricing for the car so very happy there.

I've been on the internet searching for the best axle back exhaust, intake/tune, and springs to get. So far i'm leaning toward the Flowmaster american thunder axle back, and JLT intake/ tune from Brenspeed. Anyone know which intake/tune package out there provides the most gains?

Anyways glad I found this amazing forum devoted to the S550 stang and looking forward to endless hours of browsing and learning more about this awesome machine while I wait for mine to arrive.

Congratulations on you order. Mate i wish I only had to wait 2 months for my order. We are being told that it will be about a 12 month wait. Only about 10 months to go. ......

Roush axle back with a ford racing x-pipe sounds incredible. It's loud but In a good way! Jlt intake with Lund racing tune is what I'd get

Congrats, I'm a first time/new owner myself.

My car kind of wound up with ACC, but I'm glad it did, it's very cool and works really well. It's definitely one of those options that you might not see the value in, but once you've used it a few times, you wouldn't want to be without it :)

There's a GP on Solo exhaust systems here:

Very cool tech, amazing price, I've researched this into the ground and that's definitely the product I'm buying (the Mach VX, the quietest of the three options)

Whaaaattt? Why is it so long? Delay in shipping to Australia?

Yeah that setup does sound awesome but I'm looking for a bit more tame sound. I think the Borla setup might be a good middle ground between the roush and flowmaster too.

Congratulations on your order  Since you saved some $$$ on the car just use that for your Whipple SC
That will come later down the line for sure :D

Yeah that's what I heard about the ACC. I just think it will make long highway road trips so much more enjoyable if I don't need to keep manually adjusting my speed.

Thanks for the heads up on the GP. I will look into those options

Gratz on the stang!
Thanks!

Wow I'm impressed with the Solo Performance exhaust systems. Might have to get in on the Mach XV version

Lots of good info here. Read this forum and mod forum. Also check out YouTube for sound bytes of exhaust systems. Do your homework! CJ Pony Parts has tons of videos. Exhaust choice depends on taste of each person. Loud or not, raspy vs deep, etc. X pipe gives more raspy sound. H pipe gives a deeper tone. Listen and find what you prefer. CAI and tune is subjective as well. Look at comparisons, read up and make your choice. Truth is you will probably be happy with most and they are similar to each other. Oh, don't forget to get rid of the resonator! Best of luck and welcome to the site.

What about Corsa? I just got rid of my Roush ABs in hopes of a nice, deep, loud , and aggressive sound. Just went with the Corsa Sports and they're pretty much that, but not as loud. I'm missing the loudness though so I'm planning on switching to Xtremes. Based on the quality of the Corsas though, there's no more looking elsewhere
