This car started out looking at the Jeep truck. The more I learned the further away my feet took me. Biggest thing that engine shut down at a stop light deal ......... yeah I know there is an override button, so what

Mustangs, been watching for a while, got interested about 5 years ago. The design refinements took a serious turn for the better, seeing them one hears a distant HELLO!!!

Special ordered in Nov, side note: Ford in the only American car manufacture that has a menu of performance specific packages, you can itemize and purchase.

With that have 2 questions for the seasoned owners.

The voice Navigation, is that temporary, ends when the Sirius trial subscription runs out ?

The next please answer only if doing or practicing.
Floor jacking the car, I know about the rails. Are they to allow one side to be centered jacked, placing stands at each end of rails. Do same on other side, thus having 4 wheels in the air.

Last, totally thrilled with the GT, factory HotRod all the way. Before we got to the dealer for pick up. Roush had an order for the cold breather with flash, and X pipe.

The voice nav will keep working after the sat radio trial expires. My wife uses it in her edge almost daily and the sat trial expired 2 years ago. I don't use the built in nav, I'm a guy, we're born with built in nav.

If you have a low profile long reach floor jack, you can use that to get to the built in sub frame connectors and that serves the same purpose for jacking as the jacking rails do. They are about a foot in on either side. Then you can put the stands at the jacking points or something more solid. Jack up the first side just high enough to clear the stands at the lowest point, then do the other side. Then you can go up a few notches at a time, side to side until you get the height you need. It's a lot more time consuming this way but it is a lot safer.

Factory Voice nav keeps working, plus you have Android Auto and Carplay built in.

I've got the jack rails, I jacked it up once without them and it started to bend the pinch welds, while it's probably fine without them, I wanted the convenience of being able to jack each side of the car up from the middle to put it on stands. For the $100 I spent on them, I'd say they were worth it. I've heard arguments both ways, but it's inexpensive and made my life easier, so I'd go for them if you plan to do any work under the car or store it on stands.

Thanks that is very helpful information, now knowing what to look for. Will not be under the car much, oil change, rotations, brakes, X pipe but that's a one shot deal.

Had good nav DNA, living in miami, has a grid. Here in GA they have triangles, totally stupid..

@ frestylmotox01

Yes 100 bucks all good, both of you indicating the car comes up from the sides,

Thanks all
