Is your tax higher on a new vehicle that is imported as opposed to a used vehicle?

We have VAT of 25% on all cars(actually on most things).
Then there is a toll-charge of 10 for imported cars outside of EU. That is fine though, I am however paying almost 75% on a dollar on taxes and VAT in general, that is the major "issue"

I was thinking of the Recaros, but I will be my DD and the winters in Sweden are rough and no heating .....

Did they give you an estimate on the delivery?

Feb/March, but I am hoping it will be May/June to be honest as I've got a Golf R to tie me over which is a pretty mental hyper hatch thing.
