ambient lighting and gauge colors

I usually keep it on red, but it's fun to switch the colors around. I just noticed that the interior door handle on the passenger side hasn't been lighting up like the driver's side does. I've had my car for 5 months and never noticed it before. Is that normal? Does that only light up when someone is in the passenger seat? Also, what's the difference between the Ambient Dim high or low?

No that is not normal....id take it in. Ambient high is a bit brighter, and low a bit more dim. Same color options.

My wife did hers in hot pink. It actually looks pretty cool. And we downloaded a flaming pink mustang (google it before you laugh) to round out the hot pink theme.

LOL, there is like 50 different colors to choice from. The codes can be found with a quick search. There is a thread on this forum somewhere with the color codes.

Even more irritating than drive modes resetting every time. WHich is the government's fault, not Ford's, so I gripe less about it.

I just wish I can change the rest of the lighting, weird having Orange/Red/Purple Gauges/Lighting with little ice blue everything else all over

Oops, no I don't think you can change that. I misunderstood what you were saying. That would be a nice option though.

I mean, how much extra would it of cost to of had the LED's in there able to change colors like the gauges and ambient lighting?

What Ford should of done is let us change the lighting of the ventilation controls on the center console and the driving mode next to the shifter instead of making it blue. People like me are forced to make everything cool blue to match it.

Is this something in the firmware of the ECU or is it reprogrammable from the dealership?

I also think it would be cool to have a setting to allow the ambient light color change to a different color when entering sport of track mode.

haha! I have the ambient and gauges set in Hot Pink in my '14. White Halos.
