ambient lighting and gauge colors

I just ordered a 16 GT premium with the standard 400A equipment group...it is possible to change the color of both ambient and gauges with this package...correct? I am new to Ford and Mustang..thanks

Also once the colors are set do they remain that way or do they default back to white every time you turn off the car?

They stay, and you can even set them to a profile (and to a key) so different drivers can get their own configuration

My favorite so far has been blue (it's a dark blue) gauges and ice (light) blue for ambient, that also matches all the non-controllable switch gear back lighting.

Honestly, I just wanted something different ....also my Vette was garaged from Nov. to April since I live in Northeast Ohio....I know the Mustang is not a Winter car but it does give me the option to drive it all year when the weather is not bad...I did not get the performance summer tires like the Vette had, so it is possible to drive in colder weather...also I really like the features of the Mustang, my Vette had very few options. I will see...hope I really will enjoy the Mustang

Cool, I had a few Vettes myself (I've been over on the Corvette Forum since '99), but nothing with this level of equipment/features.

I wanted another convertible, but that the whole family (2.5 of us ) could ride in, love muscle, and was pretty blown away at the refinement of the 6G Mustang.

Very good price especially with 2 rebates...did take a little hit on the Vette but I also bought it when the new C7 was coming out so got a really good deal on the Vette in 2013.

How much anguish did you experience while considering $$_Nav?

The gauge colors and ambient lighting are only active at night. During the day, the gauges are lit white and the ambient lighting is off (that is unless you cover your light sensor to make the car think its always dark).

Didn't realize about it only active at night...makes sense....do not care about Nav...not important to me...same with the 401 package
