Thanks brother. I've been Mustang less since March 23rd 2009. I've never ordered a car before just walked onto a lot and buy it. I figured this time it's going to be the way I want before I leave the dealership.

Don't blame ya at all! If id known my 2016 was gonna take this long to get here(stang-less) id been tempted to do the same!

Will be awesome to drive it off the lot the way ya want it

I am purchasing everything and drop shipping it to the dealer for install.

That'll make the wait that much tougher. If it's in your garage or basement while you're waiting, you can gander at it every now and then. It helps with the wait, the agony and the depression.

Welcome to the forum. Generally, convoy is less time. However, most are shipped by rail, even if your windows sticker says "CONVOY". Mine was ordered as a truck shipment... watched it being entered into Ford's system; window sticker said convoy. Ended up coming on a rail car. Took 11 days from Flat Rock to the dealer in Atlanta. If it's going to KC... it'll be by rail.

There's a few ways to track it. Have Deysha, [MENTION=7992]FordService[/MENTION] here track it for you, or you can call Ford Customer Relations and have them track it, or call your dealer. Once it gets loaded onto a rail car ask your dealer for the rail car number and track it through their automated system. There's a thread in this section of the forum on "how to track a rail car" with some useful information just do a search and you will find the thread.

Placed my order 10/24 Race Red GT Premium w/ PP Nav & 6MT. Can't wait! Dealer said 8-12 weeks FORD shuts down for the Christmas? So right before Christmas or after. I'm hope sooner. Christmas present if it shows up God willing :-)

Installing at dealer before I take delivery Roush Supercharger Phase I 670HP, Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, MBRP Street Catback Exaust w/H-Pipe and Black Tips, JTL Black Oil Seperator, Roush Rear Spolier Painted Black, GT350 Steering Wheel, MGW Race Spec Short Throw Shifter & MMR350 Wheels with MPSS 275 fronts 305 rears.

Took delivery of the "base car" today

She looked real good, only nits I could pick were a slightly misaligned trunk lid & the lower part of the passenger door needs to be brought in a tad.

Both should get done this week while they are installing all the other goodies I ordered on the car

Car was ordered 10/2 I talked with my dealer and was told my order is still in order processing. What is processing? I have a vin and was curious how soon the window sticker becomes available after receiving it. i am having a hard time getting a super straight answer. Also my order priority code is 19. Does 19 mean take your time?

Don't rely on COTUS. None of the 2016 models have ever made it in there. It was a beta site it looks like Ford gave up on.

Info I have found on here and other sites say that COTUS isn't working for 2016 yet. Hopefully they will get that figured out sooner then later. If you haven't already done so message Deysha (Fordservice on here) and she can help. She may not respond right away but she should as soon as she is an update. I've heard nothing but praise for Deysha.

Edit to add: looks like I posted this as you were also posting. Good luck with your order. I can't wait for my 2016 GT/CS
