Yes they have softer panels. The tops are still plastic but the cards are the same leather as the seats.
Oh well then I don't feel too bad for not getting the premiere then. I thought maybe it added more soft touch wrapping to the hard plastic panels in places. Like I was saying about my wife's escape the top of the door panels are soft touch where on ours they're that cheap hard plastic feel. I was just suprised that was used on an escape but not the Mustang. At least on the premium and up. My wife's escape is titanium trim so don't know if it's the same on any escape below titanium or not.

The premier trim gives you the soft touch panels on the doors not the hard plastic.

I'm confused now[emoji16] so the top of the door panel right below the window, it is or is not a hard plastic with the premier trim? I'm not concerned with the cards or if the leather itself is different. I just particularly don't like the hard plastic on the top of the door panels. That would be my main regret for not getting premiere trim as it gives you that cheap feel to an otherwise fantastic interior for the price point.

The top under the window is definitely soft to the touch and not hard plastic. If someone got theirs with hard plastic then either someone goofed at the factory or they don't have premier trim.

Thanks for clarifying [emoji106] and making me feel bad I didn't "pony" up the extra money for premier trim! See what I did there ? Lol[emoji23]

But that's what I get for not doing better research. I just thought it was a leather upgrade.
