I have been kicking myself for over 10 years for not buying that Sonic blue L I came so close to in 2003.

Try going from a GTPP to an F-150 4.6L. Going from gut wrenching acceleration and very nice cornering to 10 second 0-60 and a rolling truck chassis that couldn't pull 0.5G to save it's life. I've taken a few corners in this thing almost on 2 wheels since I stopped driving the mustang. Not intentionally.
Yessir! I have an '04 F-150 for hauling stuff.
I like the seating position -- the cabin's nice and open -- but holy hell, is it not ever a fun driving experience. Plus bump steer on the front.

Drove my 2013 Taurus PI to work tonight. Acceleration isn't phenomenal but handling is pretty good. Plus the price of gas for it cannot be beat.

Same here. GT is a garage queen so I usually drive one of the trucks....either a 94 Ranger (my real beater) or my 02 F350.....lifted cclb 4x4 6speed. Love the truck but it's like driving a barge compared to a regular car, much less a performance car.

The headroom is the only thing I am excited to have back. I keep feeling like it's going to flip when you add the high seat, the floaty suspension, and even the slightest curve.

I drove my girlfriends beat to shit, 150k mile Jeep Liberty the other day. I almost rolled it taking a corner. It was the first car I've driven other than my Mustang in 6 months and I wasn't thinking. It is amazing how you get used to something and take it for granted. The mustang handles , brakes and accelerates so damn good. I don't know why sports cars like this have a higher insurance premium, I feel they are safer if you don't drive like an idiot. There have been a few situations that the sports cars I've owned got me out of trouble where I know I would have been in a wreck if I was driving an suv

Haha wish I had a Lightning to DD. I do have two other Mustangs (besides the 15'), one being a 90' Hatch with absolutely NO nanny controls. That with a stripped interior, plus the sbf with heads, intake, cam, and a Vortech V3; make it a literal blast, although scary drive to its limits! Lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one. As a bigger guy the cabin on the F-150 is nice and generous, but yeah, it's something else. I drove it the other day. On the way home from work I have a left-hand turn. From the leftmost lane there's a pothole probably 3" deep that is pretty well situated right in the path of travel. If there's no vehicle to the right I can skirt it, but I've had to tram over it more than a couple times.

I took the turn in the truck the other day and dipped into the pothole. The whole thing was already kind of floaty. That made the rear tires jump a couple inches to the right, too. The Mustang, obviously, is much more planted and composed.

Then again, I'm coming from being motorcycle-only for 10 years so anything on 4 wheels still feels a bit ponderous and massive.

Now in a 2016 GT, replacing a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. By comparison, the Yukon was like commuting to work in the MetLife blimp, way up high and disconnected from the road. Love the change!

I think I actually enjoy driving my f150 more than my mustang on most days. Both are fast, but the f150 is so much more comfortable for long hauls. Nice clear day though, mustang all the way.
