Just did mine and it feels like a huge improvement! Not to hard at all compared to other Cobras I've had. Feels even better now

My parents just drove my car for about a 20 minute drive with a cold start and no hard driving. When I entered the car to drive to work I noticed the clutch pedal was engaged about 70% of the travel. I lifted the pedal back to normal position. Is the clutch spring suppose to help from that happening?

The spring has been removed for less then 50 miles
Something is very wrong. I've had mine out for ~13,000 miles and the pedal only has a little bit (maybe 1/8" at most) of free play at the top. I'd take it in to get looked at.

This happened to me when I destroyed my clutch. Does the car still drive/shift fine?

Car has 4,300 miles. The clutch pedal was engaged when I turned the car on, leaving me to expect my parents drove it back home with the pedal engaged. So far the cars driving fine again but I can't say it's fixed cause I drove it for 5 minutes after that. Should I put the spring back in before I get it checked out?

I have the 1/8 travel like what everyone else is experiencing.

It seems like in the cars with premature clutch wear where there is slop in the pedal the assist spring would act as a bandaide and make it work longer than if the spring were removed.

So far I have not gotten the clutch checked out but I have yet to have that problem again. Launched and drove the car hard and 0 problems after that incident

I did this, replaced the line with a SS one, and changed to a better fluid. Night and day difference in feel.

If you don't mind could you go more in depth on the "night and day difference in feel". Thank you!

The 37 pages of this thread is pretty exhaustive in owners opinions.
