I didn't see anyone do this, and now I know why. I wanted a smaller diameter, but this isn't the way to do it. I will NOT be mouting the other 3 tires. Car is on steeda ultralites, wheels are 20x10 +40. I will be going with a 35 tire. Sucks to fail, but if it saves someone else from making the same mistake then it's worth something. Petty Garage lists their tires as 275/30R20, and I looked at the pics before ordering, it looked ok. No way in hell, must be a misprint. DON'T DO WHAT I DID.

You'll be replacing those wheels on a weekly basis with those tires. Not to mention the ride quality would be miserable on that.

OP - did you work with a vendor here on selecting that tire size?

That's why I said I'm NOT mounting the other 3.

I did not. I just played with a tire size calculator, Google images, and crossed my fingers. FAIL.. Alot of BMW Audi set ups look good with this size. They were probably lower and have a smaller wheel well. I knew I was taking a chance, had to find out the hard way. Luckily the tires are Federals, not MPSS!

There's a certain blues on red car with this tire size up front, and it looks 1000 times better.

They probably wouldn't look quite so bad if they were on 9.5" wide wheels. The little amount of stretch makes them look utterly ridiculous, though.

And this is what drove me to make my 19" wheel decision.

I'm pretty sure there are a few guys on here running 275/30 R20 in the front without any issues. Most of them are running a 305 in rear though.

Check out Brians car from Vossen.

There are quite a few, even 10.5 with 275/30. Gotta do low if you wanna do the low-pro.

Found that out the hard way. No more pics, it was hard for me to take the 3.

All good. Different brands will fit different too a pss probably would've looked much beefier.. But not like a 35. What kind of tires were they (model) ? For sale ?:D

Cheap ass Federal 595evo. I work at a dealership, just got done dismounting the 1 tire, and grabbed the sticker out of the garbage. Going to slap the sticker on, buy breakfast for my parts guy, and nicely ask he return them. 285/35s will be next.
