I heard from Deysha 3 days ago when she said my car was still at the factory. If the cars were booked on the TAMESIS they would have arrived at the terminal by now.

Lets hope they get the next boat...
Judging by your build date and the two vins I've just found loaded for the Parsifal which were within a day or so of yours, I'd say you are on the Parsifal too leaving Oct 28
Hope I get onboard too!
Cheers

Got an update overnight from Deysha. My car has been in Baltimore since the 6th.

Can also see a whole stack of Aus spec cars are now coming up on the WWL tracking site. All booked on the PARSIFAL.

Progress!

My car is booked to ship on the Parsifal, sailing on the 27th, ETA Melbourne 2nd Dec.
I wonder if I will have it for Chrissy?

Fairly likely that you would get it for Christmas, I don't see how I am still being quoted a December delivery when my build isn't finished yet.

The dealers are completely out of the loop. They just tell you anything.

Just read up that the Parsifal holds 6000 cars and it currently has 2076 cars booked on the ship so there is hope for ours that we could still have the December delivery

It will be interesting to see the time it takes from your car being marked as built in ETIS to when it gets to Baltimore. That seems to have been around 40 - 50 days for the first batch. Hopefully that is just first batch teething issues and not the stardard time.

Will also be interesting to see how long it takes from the ship docking till cars get delivered. I'm hoping that process only takes 1 - 2 weeks.

Hopefully we will get a decent amount of cars delivered for Christmas.

Maybe they are sending us all a spare vehicle instead of just a spare wheel
With this lot who would know?

Similar story for me back in Dec 2012

Ah! So excited for you guys.

How's this - when I ordered the 86 in March 2012, I waited with limited communication like this as well.

December came around and Fremantle port had a strike when my car turned up at the port (on the 15/16th, strike started 16th). I still have the articles:

http://www.perthnow.com.au/business...t-fremantle-port/story-e6frg2qc-1226538293594

Anyways long story short, I managed to have the keys on the 21st December.

I don't want to say any definites, but if the car arrives on the 7th, and there is no further upfitting to be done (86 had the GPS installed at a Toyota yard), then you should have the car within the week!

Its really annoying. The last time I asked Ford and my dealer, which was a few weeks ago if they have my Vin, I get the same response which is "We can't provide a vin until the vehicle is in the country"
