I think we need to keep contacting them via social media. I'm really happy with my dealer, but Ford Australia are doing themselves no favours whatsoever.

Those messages they sent back to a few of you saying they'll be in touch soon seem to have been empty promises as well. I certainly haven't heard a single word - infact after being told twice that I'd be contacted within certain timeframes both of these have been broken and it's now a 'we should be in contact soon'.

I'd love to know when soon is. Is my car going to be here 'soon'?

You may need to make sure your alarm is always armed when your car is at home gs60wa. It sounds like Darren is far too happy even though he has to wait almost another year. He may know a place that has a mustang for free test drives.....

Thanks for your concern Bobsp12. It's all good .. I am moving house and at the rate Ford is going, our new home will be built before the Mustang arrives. New house location is :gossip:

Totally agree re social media Wildb. I am going to contact Graeme Whickman the new Ford Australia VP Marketing, Sales and Service if my VIN is not loaded on TAMESIS when it departs.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Paying for a $62,000 car with broken delivery promises and luck based build schedules.

That would fit with what my dealer told me.
That there were to be 2 shipments about a week apart, arriving here late Nov early dec and then going to OZ
I reckon they will be on the
Parsifal leaving Baltimore Oct 28, Auckland Nov 23 and Brisbane Nov 27, Pt Kembla Nov 30, Melbourne Dec 2.
and
Fidelio, leaving Baltimore Nov 2 Auckland Nov 30, Melbourne dec 5
These seem to be the only 2 that fit
Nearly there men, at least we are virtually in month of departure

TAMESIS is scheduled to sail today (19 October) USA time so by my morning in Perth it should be only hours from departing in which case I'll know if my VIN is loaded on the vessel. Phone calls will start as soon as I get my feet under the desk and I've had my 2nd coffee

Needless to say I reckon it won't be on there.

I heard from Deysha 3 days ago when she said my car was still at the factory. If the cars were booked on the TAMESIS they would have arrived at the terminal by now.

Given my Mustang was at the terminal 9th Oct and TAMESIS is the 2nd WWL vehicle carrier that would have departed to Australia since then ... I have given up on it all.

Maybe PARSIFAL is strike 3 !!
