LOL! Thanks, Agent86! It’s getting closer.

Car is at the dealer. Went to inspect it and it has two paint chips. Quarter panel may have to be shot. As of now I am thinking of passing on it. Dealer did get back to me and said the only way to fix the two chips in the paint is to have the the left rear quarter panel repainted. At this point I am seriously considering passing on the car and having them reorder. Sixteen weeks worth waiting for a new car that has to have the entire rear quarter panel fixed. To say the least very frustrating. ...

We went to the dealer today and no attempt was made to correct the problem. When asked about having ithe area air brushed was told that would be on my dime. When a ski get a out reordering was told that their is a limited production and they are not certain the order would be filled.

Ordered this car as a anniversary present for the wife didn't expect this. Just want the Ford dealer to do the right thing. When my wife asked about the reorder she was told we will return your deposit. Feel like this is a bad scene from a movie. Not really sure where to go from here. I will be contacting Ford service but don't see what can be done. One would think they would want to sell the car. OK, off the soap box for now.

To everyone that has taken delivery I am one envious person.

I will be sending her a PM shortly just not sure what she can really do in the end. They were so indifferent towards my wife today I am pretty surprised. It's a shame that this dealer (Newins Bayshore Ford) is the face of Ford Motor company.

Re-ordered yesterday due to the car being damaged when delivered. Hoping the priority code can get changed from 10 to 1 by the regional rep. Time sit back and wait.

I don't believe Deysha can do that, AFAIK, I believe only zone reps and CSRs can give a Priority 1. The dealer should be able to have either bump it to Priority 1 and they definitely should since yours arrived damaged.

Yep order the same options. One positive out all of this was seeing how well the car looked in person.

We are hoping that the dealer of Ford service steps up to the plate and changes the priority code. Time will tell.

FYI just checked there is a $1000 incentive going on in my area, up from $500. Hopefully to take delivery sometime this week.

According to the dealer they will be contacting the regional rep via an email and call on this Monday. I have also contacted Ford Service asking for them to also bump up the priority.
