The corvette is one of the few cars I would sell the mustang for in a heart beat, but one thing I won't do is pre-order and pray that the manufacturer won't change things again.

But the main reason the Mustang is so successful in Australia is due to the price, if the mustang came in at 75-85K like original reports were I would think that we wouldn't have half as many as these orders.

Yes I'd love to own a Vette one day too, but price wise it would likely be up against M4's and the like and they're just not volume sellers, so the RHD situation becomes harder to justify.

A friend just bought a GT3 spec C6 so I'll try get my Vette fix there

Was that the C6 that was on carsales (it had a blue and white paint job from memory), it was fairly cheap too your mate got a good buy shame it could never be road registered though.

At this rate HL3 will be confirmed before I have the keys to my mustang in hand.

That's the one! He's been looking at it for over 6 months.

It's a lot of car for the money, arrived in Perth a couple of weeks ago. I think I may be seeing it this Friday but I'll see how work is going first.

Herrod is the national distributor for FORD RACING parts and rob herrod was working on a deal to be able to install superchargers with a limited warranty straight from the dealerships .

I know he was in Detroit in August / September

I don't believe that Ford Racing has yet appointed a national distributor
I expect an anouncement soon ,as the Mustang is almost upon us.
I would also be very surprised if any warranty is given as our Australian ADRs etc would need to be met with all packages to have this carried out through Ford.

Regardless of this Streetfighter workshops Australia wide can supply, fit and offer 3 Year Driveline Warranty on all Ford Racing, Roush and Streetfighter packages.

We are currently taking orders pre-delivery.

That may of happened , however Ford Racing has not expressed any official distributor as far as we know.

Again , regardless of this we are already supply genuine Ford Racing components through our long standing U.S distributors .

I believe they do all the XR8s but the Mustang hasnt been decided yet. given Herrods working with the Coyote engine for the XR8s they are in a good position to work on our cars too.

The one thing I like about Herrods is they dont have 'packs' like the other ones, you can build it as you want. It all comes down to finding a good mechaninc that can do performace cars, I for one wont be going for a 'pack' that then makes the car the same as everyone else.

Aren't you ordering an ecoboost though? If you wanted power should have gone with the V8 (no pack needed).

never said I was ordering an ecoboost

If you think the ecoboosts lack power, then you haven't driven one. Also many people are doing engine mods on ecoboosts.
