Okok maybe not for sale yet but potentially. Me like many here are fed up with waiting for the pony. The hype is well and truly worn off.

For me I am disappointed we dont get gauges for performance pack, not getting the full pp, hand brake is not reversed, no led drls, clear brake lamps.

Before anyone attacks I know we are still getting good bang for buck for the stang. I personally am not sure if i will get the enjoyment being living in metro Sydney and doing short trips. I am thinking to sell my car when i receive it whenever it arrives. Ofcourse I would only sell if i get a premium.

For those who are thinking the same maybe we can use this thread for buyers who doesn't mind paying more to skip the que.

Format as below:
Engine: V8 GT
Colour: Black
Transmission: auto
Located: Sydney
ETA: Feb 16
Price willing to consider: 75-80k

It is really disappointing to be honest. Seriously what we are receiving is probably only about 90% of what we were sold if that. :frusty:

Completely understand this thread although it is sad.

And so it's begun...

You're better off listing on Carsales tbh. $175 gets you a premium listing, until sold. At least that's what I'm doing.

Still early days and it could all change once it arrives! Could really love it or hate it lol. If a good premium is offered then I have to say ill be quite tempted...

My logic is this.. if its missing alot of features I liked on the American edition then I can pocket the premium for now and get a stang 1-2 yrs down the track. Hopefully by that time there will be a wide range of upgrades. Pretty much there is only premium to be made on first 1-2 batch of cars. Mmm... now need to decide what to get if I did indeed sell it. Was thinking like a golf r or s3

Precisely... Plus your 2017+ will essentially be 1/2 the price once you offset the profit on the launch model.

What is to say that this start up price is going to continue? I could well believe that once there were enough on the road that dear ol' Uncle Ford will put the price up. I think that doing what HybridGT is planning to do is the way to go. Putting off buying your own personal Mustang could be fraught with danger. Just my two cents worth.
Ian.

Yeah I guess different things motivate people and everyone has different priorities. If selling your new car for profit is your thing then go for it. Money is money at the end of the day, for me I'll get much more enjoyment out of the car then a whole heap of extra cash. Like I said they are fantastic on the road, seen 12 so far in 3 days

Many that sell will still get the car either way, just 6 months later than early adopters and paying $30K less

But like you said, $30K is peanuts to some. Owning it 6 months before others has more value.

Yea different reasons for different people. For me since I waited this long. Might as well sell make a profit and get one down the track. By that time any RHD issues will be ironed out and hopefully some more options.

I'm with snakebite, it isnt about owning it before others, it's simply owning a great car. But others rate cash over experiences.

No difference to me owning it January vs owning in July. Only I'd be paying half the price in July. Your statement about experience, is rather confusing. Am I not getting the same experience if I take delivery 6 months later? By that theory, I guess it'll be pointless owning it later than the first batch.

Anyway, to each their own.... whens your car arriving quick duck?
