Yeah, but the driver can only see the drivers side turn signal. It's no help for the passenger side signal.

When I get mine I want to see if I can remove the signal part & mount them in the Roush Heat Extractors (which I plan to install).

Some baby boomer corporate stooge probably prioritized the implementation of a hood turn signal over ensuring the cooled/heated seats project was correctly finished. That's how crap like this happens.
In a project meeting
"So we have team X working on *useful feature,* projected completion date xyz
Corporate stooge: "Hmm, you know...I remember having a 67 Mustang with turn signals on the hood, I'd really like to see those in the car."
"But sir, we only have three weeks to finish *useful feature* project, if we want to get that done on time we'll need to focus all of our time on it.
Corporate stooge: "No, just take bob and frank off and have them do the hood turn signals. I want to see those in this car."
"Bob and frank are our lead project engineers...without them we won't have the *useful feature* completed on ti-"
Corporate stooge: "Look damnit, when I was your age, we didn't have *useful feature* because we didn't need it. What we did had - and what people loved was those hood turn signals, forget the *useful feature*! No one will use it anyway"

A nod to the past. Next thing they will offer is a non-technological interior. Without the tech. you'll get a skinny steering wheel along with an AM radio and cigarette lighter.
