Not difficult at all. Just remove the hood liner underneath, either fully or partially one side at a time, and it's just a couple small bolts and clips. As always though, just take your time with the clips to avoid breaking them. Then if you're replacing them with non turn signal vents, you'll just have to rig something up to clamp or tie down the unused wire harnesses. And obviously tape the ends off before buttoning it all back up.

I have a '16 as well and swapped mine out for black ones w/ turn signals because I wanted the contrast. Personally I like the turn signals in there simply for the nostalgic nod to the '67 models, but to each their own. Good luck!

I just realized I may have misunderstood what you're saying you want to do. Do you want to swap the entire vents out, or just remove the turn signal piece and keep your current vents?
