Not sure why you are stating this and making others think otherwise, but it's clearly stated we are getting "Driver and Passenger 6-way power seat with lumbar support" no mention of the memory function though.

Oh Az, maybe I am making false claims again, it didnt say: postively, shall be; must be. Since you have so clearly stated you know more about reading than I do, maybe you can re-read the Seats section of the Aus Mustang brochure and let me know?

I'd like to say up front that I liked the "humble" quick duck that was around prior to that incident. Why don't you just let it go and rejoin us as the quick duck that was out to learn about all things mechanical. I may be talking out of place here but I just like it when everyone is having a fun time.

Seriously mate? let it go. i was just trying to give people correct advice, end of the day i dont give a crap what you do with your mustang when you get it. i have a plan for mine and have researched every aspect of it while waiting for the car. but if you want to get your panties in a knot over something that happened in the past, well that is your problem buddy, just enjoy your mustang.
As for 6 way, is that front and bottom pan with tilted back, top and bottom tilted pack and single height pan, is it power slide and single tilt pan and back??? 6 way could be a lot of different variations and we are still in the air as to what WE are getting in australia until one actually lands here, and i made that statement as i am unsure if are they using 1 motor each variation or reversing polarity and using a push/pull method for alternate variation of different locations like volvo do? i could make a guess from what the states/euro has but until i see one in the flesh, i'm not making that mistake.

I had a play with the yellow fastback seat, when it toured up this way,
I recall, electric was for slide back & forward, so I could climb into the back and check it out for size,
the other 4 options could be, up & down, tilt back & and forth?
Surely Aussie mustangs will have a similar set up to this one,
one would think it would add to Ford's expense to make a seat work different to the Yankee one.

the seats will be the same as US, financially no point changing this for different markets. Movement is indeed up/down, slide forward/back, tilt back forward/back.

As to my attitude... I guess it reflected the way I was treated, not once, but a few times now. To be told I know nothing, riduculed for one error by a few people... but I still offer information without attitude, just reflecting towards the ones who got their panties in a bunch to start with. My argument was I am just trying to give people correct information, the same as just said above. and that, is all that needs to be said.

So just to confirm, that's the "base" stuff in the pictures, which is the lower grade stuff, right?

Yeah the good stuff may be part of the USA 'Premier' trim, but I haven't seen any direct comparison shots for USA vehicles.

What's confusing is that it appears to me that the UK is getting the seat trim colour choices, and it references 'Salerno' leather, which could be the better stuff.

So it may be that not all RHD cars are the same. We are getting a better price than the UK, so you can now see why

What really pisses me off is that we don't get a choice when it comes to quality.
I can't see why they can't give us a base price, which is what they are doing now, with the option of some premier upmarket items like, top quality leather on the seats, door trims and dash.
I'm not asking for a whole pile of options, just the option of a bit of luxury inside the car.

Easy answer to that.

Makes production more streamlined and cost efficient for them. 1 general build with "options the majority of buyers" (which means what the average buyer) will opt for, for the whole of Australia with minimum amount of customization (wheels/stripes etc).

Seriously, if the RHD UK models get seat colour choices, and custom pack choices and a general 'pick and choose' list, then why in the world would we not get it?

Streamlining the system is one thing, but not allowing some flexibility in spec is a bit lazy IMO.

Basically it seems like FordUK actually give a bit more of a sh!t, because in the end they have to do a touch more work to tick options boxes when logging the car in the system.

I think we keep forgetting that this is a car built by Ford.
As Henry Ford once said and I quote: Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black.

Because UK are more important to ford seems like it.

That, and clearly Ford au show a lot less care for paying customers. Even the dealers don't really give a damn. But guess what, people will still order it anyway. Why do you think we always get shafted?

It's not always one way.

UK got one 'spec' of the Toyota GT86 with a couple of options.

We got the 86 GT and the 86 GTS, lots of differences between them. Oh, and the BRZ, right in between.

Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. I guess we have better trade agreements with Japan and get more options. Seems like America is a different story.
