I'm on the road this week and thought I would try to fit the Mustang in my shop. This will be good exercise as I'll be out almost all of November and will want to keep the pony locked up.

Three bikes and a fourth in the build process plus a shop full of tools for fabrication, repair, ammunition reloading, etc. and I have juuuuuust enough room for a Mustang.

I had to steer the car into its rough position and push it in from the back, as if I were in the car I'd have no way to get out -- but it fits!

Well, the car is at least 8" from touching anything on any side. I have no kids, the cats don't get into the garage, and my wife knows better than to open "my" door. It will be fine. :)

That said, I would like to pick up a car cover. This garage is my only garage so the cars have to live outside, which kind of hurts my heart but I can't fit car + bikes + tools in this space without this silly level of reorganization, which absolutely kills my vehicle selection and workflow.

I'm a 6'1", 280# powerlifter. There are many things I can do and many verbs that can be used to name those things.

"Sneak" is rarely one of them.
Well since your a 6'1, 280# powerlifter. You should have no problem picking up all that junk and throwing it away.;)

Surprisingly, nothing in there is junk. It's a LOT of tools, but I use 'em all. It doesn't help, though, that I'm in the middle of a build.

Yeah it looks like someone's garage that actually uses it/builds stuff rather than a garage queen garage

There is a difference between a garage and car hole, a garage is where work gets done, and this most certainly is a garage.

I'd just make sure that everything was clear of hitting the car if it fell over. I'd put nothing remotely close to the car that would fall off a shelf and hit the car. Mice will knock stuff over, it doesn't have to be a cat or dog, or wife. LOL

I see no junk. I see a mans garage! No whimpy storage area only for a daily driver and a lawn mower.
