What do you think of the size of the new Mustang?

My last two cars were a Golf and a GTI, so yeah, the Mustang seemed huge at first. But, that's mostly just because of the shape of the hood. Once you start driving it, you get used to it pretty quickly and the hood "shrinks."

Of course I wish it was lighter, but all things considered, it's no pig. Just solid.

Size is fine, and I can see out of it unlike a camaro.

The size is just relative to what you're used to. The S550 size is not much different than the S197, previous generation models. Coming from a 2012 mustang, the size isn't a concern for me. But I would like it to be a bit lighter in weight, which is up from the previous gen. It handles the weight well though, in most driving situations, it doesn't feel as heavy as it is.

Coming from a crew cab Ram 1500, the size and weight doesn't bother me at all. At times I wish it was a little bit lighter, but for the most part I am more than happy with the car as it sits.

with over 15k miles I still think it's huge. And weighs too much.

I was hoping Ford was going to make this gen mustang smaller and lighter. That said, this is still the best looking mustang ever made IMO.

Had a corolla since 2011 and man the switch was awkward. I wasn't used to the front end being so long and heavy and the back so short. I've come close to curbing my rims plenty of times. I also didn't realize the mustang is much wider.

Having said all that I love my gt even though it's pretty heavy. It's a blast to drive and I've gotten used to the size by now.

I last owned a 98 GT.

I last drove a 09 GT convertable, and i felt that car was HUGE compared to the 98 GT, and I was driving a 4 door Audi A6 at the time. the mustang was bigger than that.

ffw to March when I watched a video about the redo of the 15 mustang. Decided a test drive was needed.

My first impressuin of the car was on how small and compact it was. It felt very similar to my 92 C4 corvette. Long ass hood, small snug interior.

I am very happy with the size of the car (sans 500 pounds to heavy).

I've ordered a '16 and am constantly reassuring my wife that, yes, it will fit in our garage, yes, it is larger than my compact hatchback, but it is no bigger than her Sonata. I admit that driving her car after my hatchback seems large, and it will take adjustment to having my car be the same size. But should The Mustang as a thing be smaller? Not sure.
I replaced a 13 SHO. Ford only true full size car. The mustang is a go kart compared to that. My garage has so much room now.

Yup, it's too big and heavy. But it's the best thing out there now, in my opinion.

Too big and too heavy yet it's the lightest of the three in its class. Maybe it's not the right class of car for you?

Its smaller than the minivan I owned previously and waaaay lower. Too much smaller and it might get awfully crowded in the cockpit.
