chrome borders around the windows??

Hi, I noticed that there are Mustangs with chrome borders and black borders around the windows. But I can't find out when it is like that...

I think that is for European cars, and the 50th Anniversary model only.

I could be wrong though -- someone smarter will chime in with the correct answer.

The chrome surrounds are part of the "Custom Pack" we have the option of here in the UK, which includes reverse sensors, shaker pro audio, climate seats & different wheels.

No, CUSTOM pack, not PERFORMANCE pack.

Custom pack has to be specced on ordering; performance pack is standard (kind of, we don't get all the PP bits).

I only know the chrome surrounds are part of the custom pack.

In the UK, where deliveries start in the next month or so, we still don't know exactly what bits of the PP we're getting and what we're not.

But the chrome definitely only comes if you order the custom pack.

Well the german website is the most detailed, you get premium leather on the doors and between the seats (arm rest), and that's only possible with this custom pack :(

Let me tell, I have seen both in person, and the Custom/Premium Pack is not worth it to me.
You gain soft touch upper door panels (you will never notice it) and pretty white stitching on the dashboard, but I hate the wheels and chrome, especially on bright colors.

All this for about 300€ extra (in Germany at least).

Of course, for those who like the wheels/chrome, it's a nice deal.

It is also soft touch iirc, but how often do you touch the dashboard?
The stitching looks nice, a bit more upscale, but the fake stitching is ok.
And the fake stitching also appears around the center console anyway (no matter if premium or not).

The soft touch part on the door is only the upper panel half that touches the window, NOT the place where your arm rests (that is always soft). Even the dealer told me he was disappointed.

I test drove an Orange GT M6 without premium package and it looked really cool in person, even if orange is not for me.
