[UPDATE]: See the 2016 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Allocation Plan, courtesy of FPCV8YO.

Is there anyway to verify a dealers allocation I have some leads on cars but most are saying april delivery. What is the production schedule for 2016 gt350?
Do you know how they came to the April delivery time frame? I placed my order at the beginning of this month, and the sales guy had no idea on a time frame for the build.

So I don't fully know what this means either but this is my best guess since I also was told around March/April for my delivery and I ordered mine in early June:

My dealer's allocation was allotted for Jan 1, 2016. Their take on that was their order would be submitted or eligible (if the allocation was still not allocated by a buyer) for building on Jan 1. After that, it's up to the build schedule as to when I would actually get the car. That's why they said their best guess was March - April 2016. POSSIBLY winter...possibly. Which would not be good for me being in a northern state so Spring = good for some folks.

Why would they start handing out the allocations a year in advance? It's pretty ridiculous if it's really in March to April for the regular gt350.

Is it honestly that absurd? Low volume product. Well...lower anyway. We were able to order these things well before we even knew full specs.

If people have build dates in October, how the hell can they expect delivery 5-6 months later

Well obviously no for people who have build dates already but some of us absolutely do not have build dates yet. I haven't even received the call from my dealer to finalize my allocation reservation for submission to Ford. My guess is because my region is super low priority. There's like a total of only 6 or so 350's and like 1 R actually allocated around my area which is Southeast Wisconsin. I know two of the base cars are still not accounted for. 10k ADM's don't help though either. And one of those dealerships ordered the car pre configured without a buyer, Oxford, blue stripes, Tech Pack. They have no clue when it's coming.

A dealer on this forum said that dealer stock inventory is produced first which seems counter intuitive but appears to be the reality. No build date for me yet either but it is a R so I expect April delivery which I have come to terms with.

Everything else is built that way. 2015 Mustangs were on lots before orders that were placed the day the order banks opened.

Same here... I haven't received a VIN yet. I have confirmation of my order but no VIN or build date, so I'm already in the mindset that unless I'm lucky and I get a blessing prior to November, I'll likely be looking at April.

There's going to be a whole bunch of white w/ blue stripe cars out there thanks to all the new car managers out there that think "classic" is the way to go for their showroom queen.

Yup.... it's already proven with the 2015 GT350 units.... many of the 137 made were white. Not that there's anything negative about that. :D
