I love their products, I had a set of Girodisc rotors on my evo x to go with the factory Brembo's

Now theres a price I am willing to consider paying for 2-piece rotors.

Thanks for posting

wow...These are sweet looking setup. Couple these with some nice aftermarket, lightweight wheels and you can have 15-20lbs weight saving per side in the front.

Ya i think its a no-brainer when its time for new rotors... what is a more difficult decision is buying them when the stock rotors are still in good shape. I will be thrilled if I can get my car, with the blower kit on, back down to its original stock curb weight.

I read on a GTR forum that a guy cracked his after 8 track days, that should be taken with a grain of salt as I don't know all the specifics. I'm hoping these are just as durable as the AP rotors when pushed long and hard at the track.

Why not wait and buy the shelby 15.5 rotors?

Won't fit and likely will be the same cost as these that are listed.

I used girodisc rotors on my evolution 8 not too long ago. They did not last too long after a few HPDE days.

I switched to AP discs and found that the actual material of the disc is better. Overall it just last longer. I have 4 hard trackdays on this set and the discs look great. No spider cracks or anything odd.

While these have a lower initial cost you also have to make sure that you take into account that you may be replacing the discs more often than the AP units.
