yep, i park far away as well and always seem to have someone next to me.. usually if i have to park next to someone, i snap a photo of the license plate so when i come out and if there are any dings i at least have an attempt at retribution lol

Let all the air out of both driver side tires.
Don't slash them, just hold the little push pin and let all the air out. No perma damage to the vehicle, no mess, just a nice little "back the fuck off".

I come out of the JC Penny store and enter the parking lot. As I approach my car I find a woman digging through her handbag which is sitting on my trunk lid. (Most of these handbags have little metal or plastic feet that SCRATCH). I asked her if this was her car and what was she doing. I got a dumb look and a reply. "I'm looking for my keys" So I said "Here let me help you" then I grabbed her handbag and tossed it into the parking lot where it spilled everything all over the place. She had this unbelievable look as I got into my car, started it and said "Doesn't look like a table to me" and I drove away.

That pisses me off, I have watch trucks do that crap on purpose because they don't care and feel that there trucks are tanks.

Now to the guy with the handbag on the truck you handled that quite well my older car I had something similar but a girl was smoking leaning on the side of it.

Ain't sayin' it'll go over big on this thread but could take the opposite approach. Friend of my dad's whenever he bought a new car drove it off the lot, got out, keyed it himself down one side, and never worried about it again.
Point is, stuff happens and this isn't worth dying or getting seriously injured over. It's a car folks, gets dinged and bugged cause you use it. Life is short, enjoy it, don't sweat the small stuff.

Best parking lot story I heard of courtesy of a friend many years ago while serving in the US Coast Guard in Opa Locka Florida. Friend comes into work after about an hour being late...tells everyone that if anyone asks he's been there all morning. He proceeds to tell us that he went to the local Burger King on the way to work to get his coffee and croissant breakfast sandwich and had to go inside because the drive thru was so crowded. When he comes out, he cannot leave because a car is double parked blocking him and a couple of others in. He goes inside to find out who owns the car and no one replies. So, he goes into his trunk, pulls out a Ball peen hammer (he was a helicopter mechanic), and proceeds to bash in every light on that double parked vehicle! Immediately, this frenzied Cuban speaking lady comes out screaming hysterically all the while my friend proceeds to the windshield. The lady, now speechless, promptly tears out of the parking lot before more damage can be done...true story!

I like this. Kind of reminds me of a story I heard on another forum. Someone parked extremely close to the OP's driver side, forcing him to enter the car from the passenger door. He promptly got his Club, smashed in the other person's driver's window, locked the Club to the steering wheel, and drove away - only pausing to ditch the Club keys in the nearest storm drain.

He obviously did that park job on purpose since there are tons of empty spots in the parking lot. What a jackass.
