2016 Mustang Configurator (Build & Price) Is Up and Running

Because OP posted the 2016 link (thank you!), I checked into the Yellow Jacket option, which is the last remaining 2016 difference that I was still deciding on. I just got off the phone with Ford Marketing, and the guy said that this site is still be tweaked so you can't take it as 100% final.

He said that the faded stripes are a vinyl applique. Not sure how they accomplish the fade look.
He said that Yellow Jacket will include two-tone yellow/black seats similar to saddle, ceramic, and red. :eyebulge:

So I still have my doubts. I am sticking with Ebony Premier Trim with my order. I will check this new site everyday to see if the seats for Yellow Jacket suddenly change.

the stripes are freaking me out a bit. Not sure about the fade-solid-fade but will wait to judge until I see it in person. I prefer stripes that go down the bumper also.

I wish we could get the PP with the blackout package :(

And I want I want I want Avalanche Grey.

If there's one thing I never liked about the sample interior shots Ford uses on the customizer page, it's how the lighting makes it look like the column of the manual shift knob is made out of slightly translucent white plastic.

It's under 3. Exterior Options. In the smaller window that's on the left you will need to scroll down through the wheels toward the bottom.

For some reason the configurator doesn't show the nickle wheels on the vehicle after selection... also $195.00 more over the black PP wheels!

Exactly...I'm looking for a picture of the wheel on a car. Not sure why the configurator doesn't show it.

not worth the premium... I don't think they look great and they look way smaller than the black wheels

On the Stripes... My wife and I are actually digging them. As we are not trying to "Pretend" we have a 350. We appreciate their own unique twist.

I say the pretend part because a few of our friends have added the stripes and those that are not familiar with the cars automatically assume it is a Shelby. And they are tired of answering the same questions over and over...

We would like to skip that part and just enjoy the car as we see fit...

And my response in not in response to your struggles... I just wanted to add why we are too struggling because we really think the Shelby stripes look fantastic in this car...

Yeah, also can't do a spoiler delete with the BO package.

So talking about contrast....the configurator will also let you option the black painted roof with the shadow black paint.

Agree, I'm not really feeling them either. Maybe on the right colored vert.
