Be extremely happy if you can hit a "Technical Series of Turns" in a GT350 without brakes or brains. This man is Mr. Flat-Out!!!

Whenever I see an S bend, I usually just bury my foot for an extended period of time. Literally, it's why I hold the record for "Most Crashes in a Single Vehicle" in the region. Smash it and hope it sticks.

While 8 seconds is an eternity between corners in one gear, I wonder if this was active say for the 2+ mile Mulsanne (pre chicane era) straight at Le mans, during which time the the car is over 6250 for well over 8 seconds, would the RPM reduction apply at WOT?

Yeah, he and ULTRAZLS1 are cut from the same mold. Unfortunately, for them, they are certainly not as knowledgeable or articulate as LOWDOWN was. They're basically just the typical Camaro fanboys who can't stand reading anything remotely negative about a Camaro without having to post a drawn-out response.

There's another one over there, too, that can't resist posting any any threads where someone makes a positive comment about a Mustang. I'd have to go look for the username, but you likely know who I am talking about if you are following any of the GT350 threads over there. He's obviously an older fella who's heyday was street racing in the '80's/'90's, because every time someone brings up performance, he reverts to talking about how the fbody dominated the a Mustang during that era.

Currently he's going on about the debunked "over rev" info and suggesting there is some conspiracy about that dealer guide info that was shared earlier this week.

I have to agree, while a bit over the top, at least LOWDOWN presented a lot of facts and not just opinion when he posted. The two you mentioned by username, along with MEDISIN, do seem to be just Camaro fanboys spewing out whatever drivel comes to their mind.

The other person you're referencing sounds like hotlapZL1. He's not as bad as IOM OR ULTRA, but he sure wants to let people know how much better the Camaro is than the Mustang. There's one poor guy/girl over there he's all over lately for having owned a z/28 in the past but apparently never praising the car on that forum. There are some people over there that are a special kind of crazy!

Wow, I just went over there and checked out that train wreck of a thread regarding whether or not the GT350 is faster than the z/28. I had poked around over there periodically, but this was the first time I took the time to read all of the comments since the GT350R ride-along releases.

It's so pitiful to see grown people (well, I assume they are 18 or older) so infatuated with the Camaro create so much disinformation about a rival model. They talk about what Pill does over here, but don't seem to see the hypocrisy with what is happening over there.:lol:

And I see what you're talking about with Poop. I admit I haven't followed all of his posts, but he looks like a guy who's owned a lot of Mustangs and Camaros throughout the years and does not come off as a proponent of any one over the other. He better be careful though, if they think he does not appreciate the Camaro as much as he appreciates the Mustang, he'll not be long for that site!

It's obvious he's rubbed hotlap the wrong way somewhere along the line, as that guy is basically calling him out as a liar about having owned a z/28 without actually saying it in those words. I don't get the cannibalism over there sometimes.:shrug:

That gives me an idea. If I have time this month, I am going to attempt to build a Track Guide. I think it would be a good thing to go over track nomenclature as you were describing. Example being, typical track configurations and the term/name for specific sections... ie Hammerhead, Carousel and so on. A picture will be provided and some examples could be shown for clarification.

It would be very basic information but available for members who have an increased interest in Motorsport. Gimme some time and I'll see what I can throw together.

President Bush autographed the GT350 and is being auctioned off for his charity. It's a Military/Veteran foundation of some sort. I don't know the details...

He probably couldn't get a 2015 or an "R" :lol:
