installed this just a few moments ago
custom painted Ingot Silver w/blue pearl coat

install was easy with just a deep 8mm socket
took maybe 15 minutes:ford:

I think it turned out great - another small detail is the oil dipstick was sanded and painted semi-gloss black as well

as a note, I decided to leave the engine cover on the shelf since the cp-e secondary fuel system was installed
which is why I wanted to improve the look of the valve cover

thanks for looking

Looks good. Anyone know of any disadvantages to leaving the engine cover off? I'm guessing the answer is no.

Glad you like it, to me too busy/color clashing going on in there, don't understand the green/blue silver combo but as long as you like it rock on!

Yeah just crank it in the driveway and take a listen, it's probably one of the most effective engine covers I've seen in eliminating valve train noise

the green fuel components are prototype soon to be swapped for ano black with laser etching as the kits will be sold
it was meant to be bright and stand out

and the oil cap was me just messin' while I was at CPC doing the test install

Will it not cause issue with the hood paint getting too hot? Or is the underhood insulation sufficient?

15 minutes? Including putting back the wiring harnesses to make it look stock? Looks like an hour job at least.
