Forged wheels alternative..

Ok.. lets clear this up.
1. I did not see true forged wheels anywhere for 650
2. Im not expecting forged wheels for 650 a pop. Im looking for an ALTERNATIVE. 650 a pop is still 2600$
3. point me to a set of forgestars that go for 1500$ what i saw was 1500 per wheel on the one i liked. And thats close or over than true forged
4. Mistang_guy youre a forgestar fan, great, i find them meh. I like volks, why is that a problem?
5. Im a chick, do i have to post my birth certificate? My drivers license? Does it matter? This is why you dont see women in forums.
6. I dont like tsw wheels. Why is that such a crime?

I asked for help, does that have to mean i have to pick one of the choices right away? Im not just a forgestar guy. Clearly you cant afford better then so you dont have many choices. It isnt a problem. Its your problem you dont have the cash to spend for what you want. You bitch how much forgestars cost, but go back to looking at volks which are even more expensive. Then look at true forged which are usually 4500-5000 for a new set? You are completely ridiculous, i wanted to point it out because its funny. Im just not a leg humper, i just call it like i see it. Grow up.

Well, to me it looks like the design you like is that 2/3 piece mesh style. By the looks of the bolts on that wheel its a 3 piece and forged wheels are not cheap no matter what when it comes to that. There are companies that make 2 piece cast wheels like that but they are still pricey (2k+) and heavy as hell, since you are looking for lightweight I don't think these will be an option either. Since with tires you will easily be over $3000 and at that point whats a little extra to get you the wheels you really want. Best bet is bite the bullet and fork over the cash for a set of wheels you really like or look used. BC Forged makes some nice options in the 4k retail range. Dealers might be selling them for less.

Unless you getting 20s Volks arent 1k a wheel.

If your looking for something lightweight and extremely strong Volks are a safe bet.

What size wheel are you looking for?
What is the purpose of you upgrading your wheels?

If you are going for looks go with the volks you like so much.

If you are looking for a light weight ,high quality, bang for the buck wheel. You can't beat Forgestar (CF5, CF10 , F14 , CF5V)

If you don't like forgestar, and are dead set on the Volks...why bother looking for an alternative?

Is there a reason you want such a high quality wheel?
RTR wheels are VERY nice for the price

You are going to be dishing out a lot of money on wheels. Keep in mind you also have to purchase tires. In my case, the tires were almost as much as my wheels.

Im not dead set on anything my good people. If anything im leaning over the multi mesh design. I have a felling people dont really read the whole thing. I said i like volks and thats it. I have mentioned many others. I also have not said volks go for 1k.

Thanks for the choices laztug, ill look into that. The purpose of all this is either to get an allrounder (performance and looks) or get a cheap good looker and a lightweight for track days
