Hi everyone,

I was looking for a thread with a similar topic and I couldn't find one so I decided to start my own.

I have been working with Ford to buy back my brand new 2015 Mustang Ecoboost Premium for several months. It had a check engine light on it since the first day I bought it and Ford couldn't fix the problem. Finally Ford has bought back that Lemon they call a mustang.

After reading through so many posts about various issue's with this model mustang, I wanted to see how may others have been able to get Ford to buy back there Lemons.

It's sad for me to say but, this was the most poorly built car I have ever owned. I wanted to love every piece of this car from the cooled seats that blow out hot air, to the great radio that works when it wants, to those plush leather seats that rip as soon as you sit on them. I'll be the first to admit the car looks great but, it runs like a mule not a mustang!

Did you have a loan on it? If so, did you get what you owed? I went through this with my 2011 regal and GM... They just paid me to go away!

You are one of the few that actually get it bought back and labeled an official lemon law car. Good job on sticking with it.

Glad you got it off your hands.
How long have you had the car and did you get all your money back?
Good luck going forward.

Lemon

Had Aston Martin buy a new '09 Vantage back from me. The car had a strange engine stalling condition and they simply could not get it corrected. Didn't need to go the full Lemon Law route, whereas they stepped right up and made the buy-back offer. Funny thing was, they paid me full msrp for the car and I had purchased it at a discount from the original dealer. I went back to them, though and bought a V12 DBS. Figured it was an entirely different engine and drive train, so was safe. The DBS ran like a tiger and never any problems.

So far, my new '15 GT Prem convt has been problem free.

May I recommend a nice GT? The 5.0 is a proven motor.
