Yup what Voo Doo said. My salesman at Hallmark said the same thing - if the E.P. is better then that is what they will give to me. It looks about $700 better than the price I negotiated with them.

The apr that comes alongside employee pricing usually makes up for the price adjustments. I would advise trying to run the numbers before agreeing to anything.
Just a heads up to those thinking of dropping their original deal in favour of employee pricing.

Yeah, that's exactly what I intend to do, cause I had 60 months with 0% APR, and now with employee pricing it's 1,49%, so we'll have to check how it changes things.

Well......I had ordered a 2016 EB PP Premium when the financing showed 0% with no Employee Pricing. Employee Pricing comes in and now a 2016 has 4.39% financing while 2015 have 1.49%. After giggling around with numbers, I decided to throw in an extra $5K in cash along with my trade and my payments on a 2015 GT Premium will actually be a bit lower.
I wanted to hold out to get the Sync 3 since I am a tech geek. However, I can get $2K more car options instead of paying $2K more in interest.
I'm picking up a 2015 Silver GT tomorrow that has a bunch of options including 50th anniversary trim package.
Excited! But sad to see my little red Focus ST go. It's been a great car, but my hip has been bothering me so I need an automatic. :(

Costco $1000 comes off the bottom line after taxes and everything.
So in effect you aren't getting $1000 off your dealer price, you are getting $1000 off dealer price and taxes, delivery, etc.
Still, combine that with X-Plan (simply join the Mustang Club Of America to get a PIN) and it's a good deal.

Hi and thanks for bringing that up, since I was looking into the Mustang Club of America x-plan the other day, and I wasnt sure if these pins would also be accepted in Canada. Did you do it ? Can you confirm me 100% that it works ? What kind of discount does it usually give you ?

Yes, I can confirm that this is exactly what I did (I am on Ontario), I used a Costco discount and a MCA PIN. The PIN works fine and Ontario Ford dealers accept the MCA PIN as any other. You can pre-clear all this when you order, by the way, to remove any fear that you will get stuck with an unexpected overcharge at delivery when you pay the man.
I do not recall exactly what the X-Plan discount now (I would have to go dig those things up) was but it was easily very worth the effort. Plus, you get a great monthly magazine from MCA!

Hahaha, yeah, I was pretty thrilled about the magazine when I checked the MCA website lol
I have already ordered mine, but I will double check with my salesman if it can be used, before suscribing to the MCA

I get the Costco discount cause it was active when I ordered my car, just gotta check if I can add X-plan, cause right now Employee pricing + 1,49 APR OVER 60 months vs the deal I got + 0% APR, isn't worth it...

At Hallmark Ford it's done either way!! So I took the check offer!! That way, it's the full $1000 !!! Still got a screamin' deal off the lot!! And I'm getting them to install the Illuminated Sill Plates!! Even tho I have the 50th Pkg!! It still says that I get them on my order!! Bought and installed by Ford!!..... Did I say..FREE !!
