Hey everyone,
Since I'm still waiting for my VIN, ETA or whatever that"ll say that I'm getting my Mustang soon, and my dealer told me that they would apply the best price/discount if anything better comes out before I get it, I was looking for what the best deal usually is, and that's "usually", Ford Employee Pricing;
As I was looking online, apparently, it would start on June 14th this year, until they decide to end it (Aug-September...?)
So if anyone is about to order his, I'd recommend to wait till then to make sure you'd get the best price ;)

Our GT PP is built and waiting for a train ride to our house!! Salesman said if employee discount or lower pricing is available before delivery...the lower price will apply!! But.....there's always a but.....the Costco $1000 would be off the table!! Does Costco actually send you a check for a grand??? Or in credit to shop at their stores???

Got my VIN today, my V6 is built and awaiting shipment too :)
No, the Costco rebate is just a 1000$ off your car's bill, just a discount; but Ford Employee pricing is usually much more interesting than a 1000$ off, so I'd be happy to "lose" that Costco discount actually

I was able to get the costco discount on top of the employee discount. I guess YMMV with your dealership.

Same here. Voo Doo, I would definitely confirm with the dealer.

I believe you can stack Costco discount with employee pricing, but I thought that they both have to be running at the same time. So, you can choose whichever is the better discount at time of signing or delivery, but not a combination of both. At least, that is what I heard.

My EDD is June 11. Hmm, I wonder if I can stall for three days...;)

You can definitely use both at the same time as that is what I did. Costco does not send you a check for $1000. You fill out paperwork at the dealership and they submit it to costco. The dealership does not loose any money by offering you both of those incentives. Costco will reimburse them for the $1000 and as far as I know Ford will reimburse the dealership for the employee pricing. http://blogs.motortrend.com/car-salesman-confidential-what-is-a-rebate-24717.html

I'll try and see if I can get both, just hoping my car gets delivered after employee pricing has started... It's been a long enough wait so far, but might as well wait for another 2 weeks if it's worth it :)
Thanks

So my salesman did confirm me, when I told him I saw June 14th that it'd start on the 14th/15th; but since the Costco 1000$ is over, I'll only get one of em, whichever is the most interesting for me.

I am doubting that anyone who does not work for Ford, or have a family member that works for Ford is actually getting "D" plan pricing.
If you work for Ford you get two "codes" a year good for you or a family member. You have to submit to Ford asking for your Code. This is then inputted by the sales manager upon ordering/purchasing. Ford audits dealerships that have a high number of submissions to ensure they are within compliance.
The only way you would know if you are getting "D" plan pricing is if you were in the sales manager office when he is doing the ordering/purchase and you would see on his computer the price plan.
Also, "D" plan pricing is not available with Costco discounts, but can be used in conjunction with available Ford rebates.
Feeling good about the dealer and the price you are paying is the most important part of your purchase and the dealer will do and say what they can to achieve that.

Checked out my dealer's website this morning and saw the employee pricing. Now I just have to figure out if this can apply to my car I ordered. Is employee pricing for cash sales only?

EDIT: Looks like we're in the same build/delivery week, almost there!
