Employee pricing is now available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada. The discount is much deeper then x-plan. If you already ordered a 2015, you can qualify for this incentive.

Yes, I was able to get 6.4% off the invoice pricing with this Employee pricing. Yay!

Are either of you financing? If so, what kind of finance rates is Ford Canada offering? I've heard they sometimes jack up the finance rates during employee pricing events to offset the discount.

Interesting. How long is that employee pricing likely to last? I'd need a test drive before biting. Ford web site says it expires Sept 30 2013 LOL.

For a GT Premium build at 6.4% below invoice I would go for:

36,974 : invoice on GT premium
3219 : 67G (PP)
435 : 68B premium trim with color accent
305 : 77R park assist
348 : RR Ruby Red
696 : 91N nav

TOTAL - $41977 - 6.4% = $39,290 plus taxes

When you consider that a sports package equipped M228i is about the same money that is pretty good. Several grand cheaper than a Golf R as well.

The invoice pricing on a GT premium is not 36,974.

Another quick question - when you put an order in is the deposit you guys have been making refundable based on a test drive?
The vehicle purchase agreement should have on it(example) : "Deposit 100% refundable subject to final approval." If its not on the agreement, it means nothing.

If that's not the invoice price, what is? and where did you get the info from?
I don't know what it is exactly but the base MSRP for the GT premium is $44,499.00. There is no way the invoice is $36,974. Maybe he meant GT base?

Isn't the base MSRP for the GT premium $42,499? Based on the 12% difference between the US price of the base GT premium MSRP and invoice, I'm guessing the GT premium's invoice price should be around $37,945.

Price for the GT Fastback (Base) $36,999. GT Fastback Premium $42,499 as far I know. You can see the Invoice on the order printout.

FYI, I took the invoice price (as well as option invoice prices) from the PDF "Canadian specs and prices" distributed on this forum. The relevant line of that PDF:
Mustang 5.0L GT Premium Fastback (** 400A without Equipment Group) P8C-400A $42,499 $36,974
The first price is the MSRP, the second the invoice.

All the MSRPs for the models and options in that PDF match those listed in the "official" price list thread BTW - the only question is whether those invoice prices are accurate. I've asked the poster of the PDF (Viva) for his invoice price source in the Canadian pricing thread. He's giving a 15% pricing differential, I have no idea if that is reasonable.

One apparent error in that PDF I just uncovered: Viva indicates in the PDF that "All CANADIAN Base Prices noted above include Destination and Delivery" and yet his MSRPs are the same as those listed in the first post in the pricing thread here - and those prices DO NOT include the D&D charges (see the worked 50th Anniversary pricing example in that post).

If the invoice discount is 12% rather than 15% then the above GT Premium will total about $40,549 plus D&D and taxes.

Looking at my order, I can post only the prices for my EBP:
MSRP for the P8T $33,499 and Invoice $31,234 so the Invoice is 6.76% less than MSRP. The extras are on Invoice pricing all 12% less than MSRP. Now you can figure it out. On the Canadian pricing list is the 201A package missing: Shaker pro, 12 speaker system/ BLIS/Memory seats: $2,000 / $1,760

To set that right: my order including D&D was MSRP $43,549 +tax =$$45,727, invoice $40,652+tax=$42,684, I paid $38,420 +tax=$40,200*
In the end I did get a price what is $2,484 under invoice pricing. So for me there was no x-plan needed.

*All prices are based on 5% tax.

Thanks for that info. 6.76% below MSRP as "invoice" is a total joke - if that in fact was the true cost of the car to a dealer they'd all be out of business, it's just a lot of marketing BS. I think you may have been shafted, if the invoice differential is 12% in the US as indicated on this forum that should hold for Canada too.

This was the price I paid for my Mustang GT:

==========================
2015 Mustang GT Premium Coupe

BASE MSRP: $44,499.00
ALL WEATHER FLOOR MATS: $300.00
GT PERFORMANCE PACKAGE: $3,700.00
VOICE-ACTIVATED NAVIGATION: $800.00

TOTAL MSRP: $49,299.00
DISCOUNT: $6,107.00
SUBTOTAL: 43,192.00

FREIGHT: $1,600.00
FEDERAL AIR-TAX: $100.00

TOTAL: $44,892.00 + HST
==========================

How are you ordering one with more options for significantly less? Did you order one and have a signed bill of sale?

Also employee pricing is A-Plan, much less then X-Plan.

Ford Employee Pricing (“Employee Pricing”) is available from July 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 (the “Program Period”), on the purchase or lease of most new 2014/2015 Ford vehicles (excluding all chassis cab, stripped chassis, and cutaway body models, F-150 Raptor, F-650/F-750, Mustang Shelby GT500, Shelby GT350, 50th Anniversary Edition Mustang and all Lincoln models). Employee Pricing refers to A-Plan pricing ordinarily available to Ford of Canada employees (excluding any Unifor/CAW negotiated programs). The new vehicle must be delivered or factory-ordered during the Program Period from your participating Ford Dealer.
