New color, please!

I'm not a particular fan of the Lexus IS300 styling, but I was driving behind one the other day in this colour. It looked superb........and got me thinking how nice it would look on the S550.

It reminds me a little of the old Vapor Silver on the S197, available for just a year, if I recall correctly. It's a nice "warm" shade of silver, with a hint of bronze to my eyes.

I love Ingot Silver and Magnetic Grey on the S550, but this would sit somewhere in the middle of the two......and it would highlight those bodylines to perfection!

C'mon Ford, one for the '17MY? :ford:

That was the color of my 2008 GT Mustang..... And I loved that color, the 08 Mustang was totaled in a parking lot..... It only had 9500 miles on it and that was in 2011....... It was a nice car, but the S550 is a great car... :ford:

I just wish they had brought back the 2010 Sunset Gold Metallic. I wanted one back then in a real bad way, just couldn't afford one at that time of my life.

Getting my wife an IS350 F-Sport, it's on order, it's called Atomic Silver, really sharp.

I would like to see an avalanche grey on a GTPP

I was building a f150 and checking out the colors , I like the earthy tones like Bronze, caribou and blue jean.

Yeh I prefer lighter colors, don't look as dirty, don't show dings and scratches as much..etc. these things can and will happen becuse of some dickhead in the supermarket parking lot. Dark colors look great but there is now mercy, I hate my wife's black car, never again.

Grabber (not GHIG) Green need to find it's way on to the color palate, as does Highland Green. Walked out of a restaurant last night and the only thing that wasn't white, black, silver or grey was my TR Mach 1. Sad.

Vapor Silver was my favorite color on the early S197s. The 13/14 looked better in darker shades (Red Candy and DIB for the win).

I just wish they had brought back the 2010 Sunset Gold Metallic. I wanted one back then in a real bad way, just couldn't afford one at that time of my life.

I realize there's an ass for every seat and looks are highly subjective, but that color has never looked good on any car at any time.

Don't forget the three shades of red offered on the S550 (Ruby Red, Race Red, Competition Orange). That's 30% of the available colors.

I agree, this would easily be my color choice if it was available. My neighbor has a new Tundra in the same color I believe, and I think about how perfect it would be on the S550 when I walk past it everyday.

+1 I had 3 black cars in a row and it was the most beautiful car when clean but what a pain in the ass to get and keep clean. Talk about swirl marks :headbonk: Hence this why i got white in the s550 and the previous car i had before the s550. White looks awesome with dark tinted windows. The color silver in the op's picture would look awesome as well.
