Many thanks to all the people that have replied, it has helped somewhat but has also confused as I am now putting silver and white into the equation. Race Red and Ruby Red are no go colors for me as I come from a Ford Falcon background and in Australia and New Zealand it is true blue ford and red for Holden. I have a Red Ford Falcon TE50 very rear car only 204 made, low mileage, these cars don’t come up for sale very often in amazing condition so I had to buy this Red one.
I will post 3 photos of my colors DIB, Guard and Magnetic can people please comment on whether they look like the REAL color in person, many thanks to all.
Guard looks pretty darn accurate. Bear in mind that its properties change significatly depending on the lighting. I was really pissed that I couldn't capture a representative photo of the thing. I'd stare at it in person and see this nice green undertone, but as soon as I took the photo and held my phone out in front of me, I had this drab looking grey blob on my screen.

DIB does something similar. There are so many highlights in person that aren't captured by the camera.

i will date a plain jane ---- but I will not drive one. If any car is suited for a
load color, it is a Mustang. Order 05/20 GT CO ; I saw one on the Las Vegas
Strip a couple of days ago, and right then knew I made the right choice.

Love Deep Impact Blue and Ruby Red, they both just pop. Kona Blue is nice, but too purple for me. DIB is a true blue and looks amazing in person.

I have an Edge in Ruby Red and it is fairly easy to keep looking nice, but just explodes when freshly washed. It is what I will probably get, unless I do a complete repaint in Dark Moss Green Metallic like my '67 GTA Fastback. It's my all time favorite Mustang color.

I ordered my vert in Guard and still haven't seen it in person.
I've now seen several of the colors in person. You mentioned red is not an option and that's fine, but I will echo the others' comments that Ruby Red really surprised me with how great it is in person. The Deep Impact Blue was also much nicer in person than I was expecting. That said, I'm still happy with my choice of Guard for my GT convertible. Seeing in person how it changes color depending upon the light is too sweet to pass up.

Personally I don't like any type of silver car, looks like the factory just cleared the sheet metal, magnetic does not suffer as much as ingot, as it has some flake in the paint.

I've seen all the colors in person, All the reds turned me off, but I hate red cars (i'm jaded) I was torn between Guard and DIB, until I saw them in person. Guard reminds me of a cross between black jade and Highland green, in the right light. in other light it looks too much like magnetic.

After seeing DIB in person, my wife had to wipe the droll off my face, I was sold on the spot. though I'm biased as I'm obsessed with blue :) BTW, I like DIB better than Kona, it is far more true blue to be sure.

I went with DIB. My top three are DIB, Magnetic, and OW, with Ruby Red being excluded because I wasn't looking for another red car. The non-metallic colors really seem bland on this car. The colors with metal pop much better. This is best seen on Ingot, Ruby Red, and DIB. This car is stunning in those colors.

I saw Guard in person and was underwhelmed. I am happy with DIB and I feel it is a brilliant color that changes so much with the light. It also makes the car seem more refined yet distinct.

As far as ease of cleaning, DIB is a dust and smudge magnet.

Guard - I'm biased, but it looks so much better in person. It's a complete chameleon of a color though.

heard my name. ;)

No love for triple yellow? I agree that the metallic colors are special on this car, but I saw a TY in person and absolutely loved it, it's such a deep, rich yellow - not like you are used to seeing on cars. It's making me seriously consider it. Just worried that I would get tired of it after a few years.
