Seen in person today... Black, White, Yellow and Race Red... All I can say is I'm so damn glad I ordered Race Red. That color just pops!

My opinion on the colors so far:

1) Magnetic - nice, but a bit too muddy and warm for my liking. I don't think it was completely clean when I saw it on the dealer lot. Will probably be one of the easiest colors to keep clean though.

2) Guard - I'm biased, but it looks so much better in person. It's a complete chameleon of a color though. I loved it in direct sunlight but wasn't exactly all that crazy about it at night. Probably another easy color to keep relatively clean.

3) DIB - have not seen. I love Ford's blues though.

4) White - this has to be my least favorite color. I thought I'd like the rear end in white given all of the contrast, but it just looks flat IMO.

5) Ingot - I'm dying to see one.

6) Ruby Red - this color is fantastic when clean. Way better in person than what I've seen online.

7) Race Red - have not seen.

8) CO - holy orange batman. This is like someone selected a pumpkin hue and blasted the saturation levels to 11. Some online photos make it look like it's borderline red-ish, couldn't be further from the truth. I liked it.

9) TY - I really want to see this. I have a feeling that it'll look great. I just couldn't live with a yellow car on a daily basis.

10) Black - menacing.
To fill in what he missed

1.) Magnetic - I have a '13 with a color pretty darn close. the new one is a shade darker it seems. Anyway, i like the color. You can get any with not cleaning it for a while but it really look AWESOME when washed and waxed. (personally I'm tired of earth colors though)

2.) Guard - He hit the nail on the head!

3.) DIB - I saw it. At first sight it's an awesome color. But it really only took me about 5 minutes to get over it. But I getting a Kona Blue LE so i could be biased (i love that color on the '10 thought lol)

4.) White - I don't like white cars in general. This was no exception.

5.) Ingot - I was surprised how awesome this looked. Generally this is the same as white for me. Just a no go, but when i saw it I had to admit it REALLY showed off the lines. It's probably not that bad to keep clean either.

6.) Ruby Red - I freaking LOVE this color. My favorite color is true red. As red as possible. Any other red is just not it to me. But ruby red is just an EXTREMELY premium looking color. Phenomenal! Shouldnt be too bad to keep clean aside from the yellow pollen really showing. Like the Magnetic, you can probably get away with not cleaning it for a bit but when it's clean it shows it's self off.

7.) Race Red - Remember that true red i just mentioned? This car is that color. (Pictures make it look orangish. No this car is fucking RED! No orange to be found) Find the reddest thing you know of and that's the color of this car. I love it. Very few cars are pure red. This car is dead on. (looked damn good with the PP wheels too)

8.) CO - I havent seen it but from Oppolock's discription, it's going to be an Outstanding color that really pops as much as the Grabber Blue did. It'll stand out. It also probably wont be that hard to clean. If you can keep mud of off it I imagine the typical dirt and pollen will be drowned out by the bright orange

9.) TY - I have no idea.

10.) Black - So many people have black cars that I'm just tired of seeing them. Couple that with the maintenance of it, and all the people that just neglect it, I just about hate it now. Like eating too much candy, I just don't want any more. (Tuxedo black would have made me go ape shit though but Ford failed us there. No Tuxedo black for us)

Yes I have looked at all the photos, but allot of people have stated the camera color is not correct. photos are taken inside, poor light.
I need someone to post (photos) true outside colors in natural sunlight.
Some people on this forum know the photos I am talking about, the color of the cars they have seen in person.
I posted some in the DIB thread that were taken outside.

Same... I saw DIB, Guard, CO, Magnetic, Race Red, maybe even a Ruby in person, and I just loved the Race Red. I was originally considering CO, but felt it wasn't orange enough in person, and had too much "red" to it. Race Red is what I felt a RED sports car should be. It just looks fantastic in person.

I've now seen all ten S550 colors except Competition Orange. There's really not a bad choice among them IMHO. My favorites are Guard, Race Red, Ruby Red, and Triple Yellow. All things considered, Race Red and Triple Yellow are the two I'd most like to own.

i have the C/O. You will love this color..
10 days ago I saw a CO PP car at a dealer in Plano. That car looks so punk rock in person, yet refined at the same time. Nice choice!!!
There is absolutely zero red to it.
My 12 yr old daughter said "you won't pick me up in that colored car."
Then my 8 yr old son told his sister "that's ok you can walk home and dad and I can go racing!"
LOL

"technically," yes. But then again I'm no technician...
The comment was just more in reference to the countless posts from people complaining that there is "too much red in CO" and the orange, isn't orange enough.

Many thanks to all the people that have replied, it has helped somewhat but has also confused as I am now putting silver and white into the equation. Race Red and Ruby Red are no go colors for me as I come from a Ford Falcon background and in Australia and New Zealand it is true blue ford and red for Holden. I have a Red Ford Falcon TE50 very rear car only 204 made, low mileage, these cars don’t come up for sale very often in amazing condition so I had to buy this Red one.
I will post 3 photos of my colors DIB, Guard and Magnetic can people please comment on whether they look like the REAL color in person, many thanks to all.

Yes white, I quite like this color, I have owned a couple of white cars over the years but they need some contrast, I am very interested in the GT350 but am not sure if this model will be made in RHD. I love this look!!! Please let the GT350 be made in RHD!!!!!
I could buy this car in a heartbeat.

Coming out of a Kona blue car, DIB looks dull to me. Don't get me wrong, DIB is a good color but doesn't pop as much as Kona.
Went with CO on my new car. Hate to have similar colors back to back, needed to change up!

Lines show best on Ruby and Silver in my opinion. Ruby in daylight looks amazing.

I wasn't impressed with Guard or Magnetic...both look drab and lose the black contrasts.
I agree, especially when most cars on the road are already grey . Mine is Ruby Red and is stunning in the sunlight.
