Wish I could but at my pay it just isn't happening

Some of us would have to make too many sacrifices for the GT.
In my case
25,155 for My EB vs 33,050 for a GT (pm = per month)
Loan: EB: $369pm, GT: $487pm +$118pm is doable
Insurance EB:$157pm GT: 210pm +$53pm =$171pm not bad but I'm starting to feel a pinch at my salary level
Now here is the kicker, I drive ALOT, I put 28,000 miles on my Lexus last year. so lets say 2300 miles a month. I live in Germany and am allowed 400 Liters (a bit more than 100 gallons per month) at American Prices, I tend to use nearly every drop in my Lexus, I would surely be well over in a GT and it's $8 a gallon in Germany!
EB 2300m/26 mpg = 88.46 gallons per month * $3.534 per gallon = $313pm
GT 2300m/19 mpg = 121.05 gallons per month 100*3.534+21*8= $522pm or
$209pm more than the ecoboost
I save $380 a month with the eco which is not chump change.

And the beer and unlimited speed autobahns are amazing! First thing I'M buying is an access port to raise that stupid speed limiter. 121 mph? Mini vans will laugh at me over here.
While I agree with this, the standard limiter is set to 145MPH on the Euro-spec EB cars, which is not that bad.

Mine is a US Spec
Ah, that explains. Perhaps you will want to upgrade your cooling as well then. The Euro-spec cars reportedly also have an increased cooler from the factory to help deal with long high speed trips on the Autobahn. I guess the stock cooling is fine for every-day driving, but if you really are one of these 'low altitude flyers' on the Autobahn ... ;)

PS: Excellent choice on both model and color

So you're getting the EU model?

Saw Magnetic in person on saturday, looked totally awesome. But I ordered a DIB with PP, definitely my favorite combination with the clear taillights and the chrome windows.

Here are some pics of the Magnetic one is saw (check out my topic for more pics)

Here's a photoshop of an EU model in DIB with PP

No bud, I'm getting a U.S. model on the base in Wiesbaden $25K vs €35k is a huge difference and I don't care much about leather and stuff that adds weight. Where are you at? Maybe we can set up a 6g German meet when I get back in August? Mine is DIB as well.

So your car dont have to be lincenced as a german car? Imported US models are way more expensive here if they have to be imported on the normal way.

We have a german forum: mustang6.de - Guess there will be a lot of community events when our cars arrive

I work as a contractor for the military and get to register my cars with them so it's like $30 a year for registration and inspection. (It cost 1500 euro to register my girlfriends Japan Spec supra in Germany and 220 a year for tax:shocked:) so I'll keep the 'stang registered with the Military as long as possible especially when super plus costs me .82 Euro per liter at ESSO:headbang:

I speak German so will definitely go register on the .de site thanks:cheers:

Yeah 5.0 liters of goodness will make the German tax man happy

2,00 € je 100 cm³ + CO2-Zuschlag (2,00 € je g/km oberhalb der Freigrenze (95g/km))

so for you 5 Liters and 306g/km

5000/100*2 = €100 + (299-95)*2 = €408for a total of €508 per year Ouch!:headbonk:

I may get a job with a German company in the near future, hence the ECO Boost for Fuel costs and Tax

2.3 liters and 225g/km

2300/100*2= €46 (179-95)*2= €168 for a total of €214 per year

It's just nuts over here for fuel too:brokenheart:
