I was able to visit the first EU Mustangs at my dealer today. I made a huge statement about all stuff here in german, but I will do a short version with the pics here. Was able to sit in the yellow one, the other ones were customer cars.

Black Ecoboost with PP: Body Alignment was great, black with PP looks awesome! Sound was a bit meh compared to the V8, but still betten than the 4 cylinder Golf GTIs I drove

Magnetic V8 with PP: Alignment was great too. V8 sounds awesome. It could be louder, but for a daily driver its good enough

Video of the Headlights & Engine startup

Yellow Gt without PP: Alignment on the hood was a bit off, but adjustable. Door was already damaged. Black and Magnetic looked better to me than the bright Yellow.

Quick summary:

Outside: I love the look, looks way above every pic can show. Absolutely stunning car, nothing like you have ever seen before in europe. Will get a lot of attention on the streets.

Alignment: It looks off on the pics, but it was totally fine live - guess the shadows are making it look off.

Frontlights: Hard to see if they are on or not on daylight. But you can see the tribars being lighted on on distance.

Rearlights: Are looking kind of pale, not bright red, even in the showroom. Breaklight is strong red. But I love the white rearlights overall.

Interior: Absolutely great, even without PP. Don't see that the 3 series of my father, in which we drove there, or the 2014 Golf GTI are better in any way.

Space. I'm 1,92m with 85kg and had enough space and good sight. Even behind me was enough place for the legs of a person. I was able to sit in the backseats, but you cant sit straight. For persons under 1,70 it's alright, for above it's okay for short rides.

Trunk: Enough space for a daily driver, or baggage for 2 persons + kids. Kinda strange theres no way to close the trunk without touching the paint or the black part

Mirror: Electric folding is in, but not automatically when closing the car. Good sight in the big mirrors.

No Memory Seats

No hood struts, but engine looked really nice and is really big

Summary:
Amazing car, great quality and awesome sound. You cant get anything better for 40k€, and you wont get that much attention on streets. I though about buying a Camaro or Audi TT a while ago, I'm so glad I bought the Mustang - One of the best looking cars I've ever seen in person!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Nice pics. So you have to press a button to fold the mirrors?

Thanks for the pics & the post...loving the Magnetic!!!
One question - there are no number plate holders installed (and no holes drilled in the bumpers), was that the same with the customer cars did you notice?
Hoping that's how they come over to the UK!

Thank you for the Pic's Ace!

Apart from the faux stitch I'm glad that wasn't able to change my order to PP, not very font of the chrome trim and PP wheels.

The rear lights look OK but still don't really like them.

License plate holes are drilled on the back but not on the front, that's kinda scary to have it done perfectly at the dealer.

Thank you very much, you're an Ace!!! :)
I am glad to have not gone for the PP too: I really don't like the chrome trim and prefer the wheels of the non-PP EcoBoost.

Thanks again!!!!!

Thank you a loooot for the pics!!!
I'm very curious to see the non premium interiors, the seats, the dashboard and the infotainement system; have you some more detailed pics of this? It would be great!
And, did you noticed some major quality differences in interior materials between the two versions?

Only was able to sit in the non-pp version. Interior quality was great. Afaik the pp just have soft-touch on the upper part of the dashboard, on the arm holder in the middle (the middle part of the doors is soft touch without pp!) and other stiching, but even that I bough a car with pp I definitely can say the non-pp quality is great enough. I drove 2014 Golf GTI for 1,5 years and am in a 2014 3 series BMW and 2014 Audi A3 on regular basis and the Mustangs quality was even, only things like the sunglasses-box (to the left of the wheel) felt cheap - but who cares for small things like that?
I think if you're not used to drive a Porsche or smth like that, the interior quality is totally great for such a cheap car.

So I only sat on the non-pp seats. They were really comfortable, very good sport seats. Don't see why upgrade to Recaros since you lose heated/cooled and eletric seats.

Overall I would say the decision of pp or not-pp should just be about chrome windows + silver trims, I really don't see how the premium package besides the cheap price for the additional stuff you get makes the car feel more worthy.

That exactly what I did for the exact same reason. I do not like the chrome window trim nor the pack wheels at all and I really dig the regular EB wheels, except for their color, but that is easily changed. On top of that I'm getting the Recaros so the pack makes you pay for heated/cooled seats that you end up not having. By skipping the pack and getting the nav system (1200) and parking radar (400) as separate options you save 900 over the price of the pack which is a very welcome 50% towards paying the 1800 for the Recaros.

In my opinion the chrome trim and/or wheels work with some colors, and less with others. Had I ordered triple yellow or race red, I probably would not have gotten the custom pack and added the parts I really wanted separately. (Like EriccB did)

considering GT PP Manual
Good to see someone whose also a GTI owner. I had a mk6 GTI with APR stage 1 manual that got totaled a year ago thanks to a 17 year old girl, now I have the mk7 GTI w/ DSG as replacement, now I regret getting the DSG as I got bored fairly quickly. I'm at crossroads to whether keep modding the 7 to keep myself happy or part out and get the ecoboost, also done with Front wheel drive. Would you say the ecoboost PP is a worthwhile upgrade? I may lease one to begin then finance the GT once the lease is almost up.

ACE well played on getting the pics mate :)

Any chance you can get pics of the orange one that was shown to be at their dealer please? Want to see how the rear lights look against the orange. Hopefully next time you can get comparison shots between the PP and NON-PP interiors :)
