That's just stupid. We can get fined for having fog lights on without fog or heavy rain. Not having a led day time running light in a modern car is unheard of.

Cops will still be pulling us over regardless because no car has fogs as drl's . Even though we won't get fined for something that's factory standard and approved, I'm not one for being pulled over everytime by a cop who isn't aware of the broken mustang drl'sThe fog lights, yes - however they are designed and approved as the daytime running lights so there's no way you could get fined.
Apparently the Canadian models have the fog lights on as the DRLs as well.
when i enquired, they quoted me $850 just for one side,Check above
Don't know about what that's for. This is for a pair, headlamp housing and led drl's in white. Reuse your own ballasts and hid's. excluding Postage and taxes to Australia .when i enquired, they quoted me $850 just for one side,
Damn. Looks like you're right. Was certain that I'd seen an earlier video with the dot lights as the DRL's - perhaps they also had the parkers on. We are going to be cop bait - at least for a while! That little dot in the photo above is the parking light.
Have a look at the European reviews, you can see that the fog lights are the DRLs.
Mate, I'd jump on this with you, but I'm in the UK!! I'm sure we'll get a DETAILED post on this build.Haha seriously? That's even worse. I've been pulled over before for driving with fogs. This is a total joke lol
Well since I've only had 1 person asking about ordering, I suppose I'll go solo. They just informed me the current wait time is 4 months plus delivery time.
Haha I know...Mate, I'd jump on this with you, but I'm in the UK!! I'm sure we'll get a DETAILED post on this build.
Pretty sure if pointed in the right direction, I'll get a UK auto-electrician that's competent enough to carry this out.
Ok, that's me up to @ £3k on mods now and that's without FI'ing the thing, about £1.5k is in shipping
I am interested don't get me wrong but if it means I have to do any wiring or open up the headlights this is not my area of expertise at all. I would be hesitant to open up the headlights as they are properly sealed to ensure moisture doesn't get in.Haha sorry. It'll be around 900 USD plus postage (and tax if we do get taxed).
According to what they told me, we just transfer out our HID and ballasts etc., and connect the LED's to something in the fuse box that'll make them go on when the ignition is on
It's just a simple fuse tap in your fuse box. So when the ignition is on, the lights go on.But we need to do some wiring work? Sorry I just don't understand what is required
