The car sounds amazing and can't wait to see one run @ the glen on Saturday. These engineers @ Ford are just "car crazy " for sure. To see how far the mustang has come since the 2003 SVT Cobra is ......astounding.

Great run up the hill! Gotta say though, every year I've watched bits and pieces of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the commentators are complete crap. They constantly comment on stuff that's not being filmed.

I was starting to get really drawn to the race red before this, and I've never been fond of red, but now...

To be fair, the live video stream isn't provided by a main TV channel - I think it's organised by the FoS (maybe with some help from Sky Sports) and is done on a budget. Generally it isn't too bad though (except when I was trying to watch the Red Arrows yesterday and the cameras always seemed to be pointing at the wrong piece of sky! That's the trouble with aeroplanes I guess, they don't stick to a small band of asphalt :) ). The commentary however is the on-site feed to the spectators at the event, so it's not necessarily related to the TV pictures you're looking at - which can be a bit frustrating at times :headbonk:

Indeed. The commentary started as part of "Radio Goodwood" many years ago and the video has kind of been "tagged on".

I think it adds to the "homemade" aspect of Goodwood. Keeping it real lol

Sounds like the car felt like a lot more than 525 horsepower for some reason. He knows what to expect from a 525 hp power level.

Whether it is a good amount lighter than the GT or another reason, he was definitely taken by surprise. Even shifting to HIGHER gear, she went sideways a bit.

This is all so... Very exciting. LOL

I think that GT350R had seen quite a bit of rubber burning action........I saw the car in the pits after that first run, and there was very little tread left of the tyres.

Also, the that's a pretty slippery bit of road. For 362 days of the year it sees little traffic. It is, after all, just the driveway up to Lord March's little abode ;)

But, I can assure you it was the best sounding car in the supercar run. And, yes, that includes the likes of a Ferrari FXX :)

Michelin Cup tires start out with very little tread already.
