What options are we actually getting?

So what options are actually going to be available in the UK? I ask this because there are some contradictions in reviews, and differences between the UK configurator and the German one, despite many of the reviews saying other than the side the steering wheel is on the Mainland Europe cars and UK cars will be the same.

As far as I'm aware, based on this forum and several dealer conversations, we get the audio/navigation upgrade, climate seats and rear parking sensors, or the Custom Pack which includes those three options plus nickel painted wheels and some chrome on the Fastback. On top of that there's the black painted roof and black or silver stripes. It appears interior trim level is not affected by taking the Custom Pack - had that from a couple of different sources now.

Don't know what the Europeans get...not sure I want to

That said, the roof and the stripes are not available on our configurator, the stripes have appeared differently in two price lists and although i'm told they are stuck on there is a school of thought that believes they are painted...

So who really knows

I would imagine that all the LHD countries will be offered Recaros. As has been said previously, the airbag/controls etc on a LHD are readily available on US specs, so no major modifications necessary.

That might not be the case with RHD cars :shrug:

You are correct the RHD market is not getting the Recaro's as we would need different seats due to airbags

Be aware with the stripe option that apparently (according to my dealer) they fade in and out, as per the photo in the latest price list. Shame, because if Ford had been bothered enough to offer proper OTT stripes I'd have gone for them, but why would anyone go for this! Another example of penny-pinching on the options list I feel .... GRRRRRRR!

Same for me. I just can't visualise exactly what it would look like. May have to be an aftermarket job...
